Chapter 7: Celebrity Obsession

No One P.O.V

After the group performance (Taehyung, Minaje, Seungyeon, Chungha, and Jihyo) they were going to get interviewed. Many interviewers wanted to have their questions answered. 

"So your highness,  how do you balance being a queen, a mother, and a pop star at the same time?" The interviewer asked Taehyung. Taehyug smiled. "That's a secret," Taehyung said with a cheeky smile. The interviewer laugh then looks at the camera. "I guess we'll never know," The interviewer said which made Taehyung laugh. Jeongguk came wrapping his arms around Taehyung's waist. 

"oh~ look it's the royal couple. Your highness, you look very handsome tonight hmm maybe you could show us your handsome smile?" The interviewer asked seductively as she tries to touch Jeongguk's chest. Jeongguk emotionlessly looks at the camera then at the interviewer. "No, Just stop looking at me and talking to me...just talking to you makes my head hurt," Jeongguk said coldly. 

"Oh okay, well bye-i'm going to go now." The interviewer said before she went to interview someone else. Taehyung and Jeongguk were having a conversation but they got interrupted by another celebrity. The male got on one knee and then took Taehyung's hand and kiss it. He got up and look at Taehyung with heart eyes. "It's such an honor to meet you, your majesty. My name is Kang Daniel, I've never seen a real angel before and just looking at you makes me feel like I'm in heaven," Daniel said. 

"It's nice to meet you too, um...well thank you for the compliment," Taehyung said feeling a bit uncomfortable. "You're welcome, sweetheart~," Daniel said as he winks at Taehyung. 

"Please, stop flirting with my wife...he is uncomfortable right now," Jeongguk said. Daniel crosses his arms to his chest and looks at Jeongguk with an annoyed look. "And who are you to say that?" Daniel asked. Jeongguk chuckled bitterly. "Your king, talk to my wife in such manner again and I will not hesitate to slice your head off right here, right now. you should know who I am already...without me you are nothing but for now, I'll let that slide," Jeongguk said. 

Daniel tries to hand Taehyung his phone number card but Jeongguk grabs it then rips it in front of Daniel's face. "He won't be needing that...he doesn't need your phone number," Jeongguk growled.

The next day 

Taehyung was sitting on his throne reading through some papers before he signs them. A Guard came with a  bouquet and a letter. "Your highness, someone wanted to give these gifts to you," the guard said as his head was down not looking at Taehyung in the eye. Taehyung looks at the guard. "Who is it from?" Taehyung asked. 

The guard looks for the name on the bouquet and letter. "It says it's from Kang Daniel...isn't he a pop star?" The guard asked. "Yes...what does the letter say?"Taehyung asked. 

The guard opens the letter. "It says 'Dear, your highness, I wanted to give you these flowers as a thank you for being our Queen. Without you I don't know who I would be today...would you be my valentine?' love by Kang Daniel" The guard read. Taehyung sighs then look at the window. 

"Burn the letter and that bouquet. Now," Jeongguk demands. The guard nodded his head and then burn the items. 

"Good. Tell the guards to secure the doors so Daniel doesn't come inside... If he sends any presents just burn them, I don't want to see them at all," Jeongguk said. The guard bows down then left to get the other guards. Taehyung looks at Jeongguk who was not in a good mood. 

"Is this necessary? I mean burning the presents...someone else can have the flowers..." Taehyung said. Jeongguk slowly turned his head around to look at Taehyung. "Yes, absolutely necessary. I don't want to lose you. He is doing everything he can to get you and I'm not going to let that slide. So making sure the palace is secure and having someone with you at all times to keep you safe. I love you a lot and I'm not letting you go out of my sight," Jeongguk said as his face soften and caresses Taehyung's cheeks.  Taehyung nods his head. "If it's for my safety then I shall follow your orders," Taehyung said as he got on his knee's bowing down to Jeongguk.
