My men waited at their spots, ready for my signal to try and attack.
When I make the signal, they run ahead, straight for the gates. As soon as everyone stepped on the ground though, bullets flew from every space in the house. All my men fell to the floor, lifeless bodies were everywhere.
"No no no." I say walking back to the car.
When I step in, I'm met with everyone's sympathetic eyes.
"Shit." Jonah curses.
"We should've known." I shake my head and sit in the seat.
"Now we know what to expect though." Elizabeth responds.
"Elizabeth is right, we can have more men scout out the place, learn out boundaries. With that information, we can make a plan." Ella touches my shoulder. I look at her, our eyes both meeting, with the same look, sadness.
****** These past couple weeks I've had my men go to the mansion that Daeva's tracker shows up as. It hasn't moved at all, which shows she's most likely planning something.
"Okay based on everything we know about this place, there is certain way in. It's a very difficult process though." Elizabeth points to the map on the screen.
"I've mapped out where everyone set off is for bombs, bullets, etc." Daniel explains.
"So by following this path, we can get into the house?" Corbyn asks.
"Yes, that's where shipments have entered." Daniel responds to Corbyn.
Elizabeth smiles before pulling out a box. She places in on the table and opens it, pulling out multiple specially-made knives.
"These were one of the boxes Zach's men have stolen. Others were only full of food and sorts." Elizabeth speaks.
"There's an initial carved out on the knife." Jonah takes on of the knives and traces his fingers along the carving.
Taking one of the knives as well, I quickly flip it over to look at the initials. It said R.C.
"Who's RC?" I ask.
"I don't know I haven't done research on it because I waited to open the box when you were here." Elizabeth answers.
"There's only one person I know with those initials that could be powerful enough." Ella speaks.
"Who?" Jonah puts his hand over hers.
"That's not possible though." Ella whispers, tracing over the carvings.
