"The note was ripped up in her trash can." Aria explains to me.

Aria is one of my special assassins. She has been one of the best so far, so I asked her to complete this mission for me. For a couple days Aria was a maid at the house Shay is staying at.

"Why would she rip up the note? Doesn't she love me?" I ask pouring another glass of water.

"She does. But they've been using a method of brainwashing on her. Roman is trying to get her to kill you Zach. Right now the plan is working, she hates you." Aria looks down at the files in front of her. It was all pictures from what they have done to her.

The pictures included all of her x-rays and just snap shots of the brushes and scars. Multiple scars covered her back, mostly from belts or whips. The bruises were mainly black, a few purple and yellow. She had broken an arm in one very bad incident, but overall that was the worse.

"Is there a way to reverse this or get rid of it?" Looking at the pictures, my anger grew.

"Yes, I looked into it. Zach in order for this to happen we have to get her back first." She says to me.

"Yes I understand I just need to know what to do about it." I respond.

"Okay, is there someone or something that is like an emotional trigger?" Aria speaks. I nod my head, waiting for her to continue. "Use that person, it can help her come back to reality."

"Find something or someone that makes her feel emotions?" I ask.

"If you've seen the show the vampire diaries, it's kind of like a humanity switch. She doesn't feel anything right now because she wanted the pain to be gone. There's a way into brainwashing someone not to care. If you can trigger an emotion in her like love or even sadness, it could cure her." Aria responds.

"Thank you." I say to Aria. She nods her head before walking out.

*******
"So like a humanity switch?" Corbyn asks.

"Exactly like one." I respond.

"What could be Shay's emotional trigger, she doesn't feel a lot of emotions to begin with, what about now?" Ella says.

"I think Zach is." Elizabeth looks at me.

"Me?" I laugh a little at the comment, no one else joined though.

"You said you felt something for her, maybe she feels the same way." Jonah shrugs.

"You're right, there's no harm in trying." Daniel says.

"Okay fine, how are we going to kidnap her back though?" I shake off our previous conversation.
