We all roamed the halls, but it seemed empty.

"I hear voices on the other side of this door." Corbyn whispers, making us all walk over.

There it was, the angelic voice I missed dearly and longed to hear again. Ella must've recognized the voice too because her eyes widened.

Without another word, Jonah kicks open the door making everyone in the room jump.

My hearts stops as I look at the love of my life. She looked broken as bruises and fresh cuts covered her body. When she makes eye contact with me, something flashed in her eyes, anger.

Roman quickly grabbed her and lead her somewhere in the room. I try following but was cut off by Daeva pointing a gun at me.

"You're lucky I'm not allowed to kill you." She growls.

"Well that sucks for you." I respond knocking her out with a punch. Jonah grabs her and throws her over his shoulder before walking out.

"Guys we can't leave." I shout. "Shay is here!"

"Zach what do you want us to do? We'll get her after we finish with Daeva okay. She's fine." Elizabeth says.

"She's not fine!" I scream turning around and opening up every door.

"Zach if we don't leave now, we all die. We will get her back just please." Ella pleads. I sigh and turn around walking out. Everyone follows.

"Your boyfriend didn't even come to save you, how sad

"Your boyfriend didn't even come to save you, how sad." My father says to me.

"He's not my boyfriend, he's dead to me." I respond.

Part of me hoped that maybe he did care for me and that he felt the same way I did that day. Maybe there was an explanation. But no, he came here for his own selfish pleasure of killing Daeva.

A look of satisfaction comes across my father's face and he speaks again. "You'll be training these next few weeks. You need to be stronger for this battle."

"Yes father, I will train harder than I ever have before and I will destroy anyone who gets in the way of my plan to kill Zachary." I respond.

"Very well then, let's get you back to your room. I need you to rest, tomorrow starts your first day of training." He says standing up.

Zach will pay for what he has done, and I will not stop until I'm satisfied. Nothing will stand in my way either.

A knock is heard on my door, making me realize I'm in my room, not even sure how I ended up here. I yell to come in, and one of my father's maids walks in smiling.

"Dinner will be ready in a couple minutes." She says.

"If you don't mind, can you bring it up to my room. I've had a tiring day." I sigh lay back.

"Yes ma'am." The maid responds before shutting the door.

When she comes back with the food she hands me a note and leaves quickly.

I open the note and read it.

My love,

I want to save you but I cannot because it's too dangerous right now. I promise to you though that we will come back and find you. If you can escape please do so, I have an suv waiting outside of the mansion in case you do decide to anytime.

-Zach

A tear drops from my eye that I quickly wipe. Why does he care so much though, he hurt me. Deciding to rip up the note, I do that and throw it away before turning back to my dinner.
