Kaitlyn's POV:
Carl ran to us as we sat outside. I looked up at him. I really wanted to stay. I was scared about the answer. I bit my lip as he came over. Daryl paced and looked nervous. He really wanted to stay. He wants us safe, and he needs to find a place where we can stay.

"Hey!" Carl said.

"Yeah?" Daryl said stopping from pacing.

"Well, my dad decided."

"What did he say!" Ellie asked.

I worried. My face turned scared. I was waiting for his answer.

Carl smiled. "He said you can stay!" He said excitedly.

I stood up and smiled. "Where do we stay?"

"In a cell. I have an extra bed, Beth has an extra bed, and Molly has another one." He said.

"Who's with who?" Daryl asked.

"Kaitlyn is with Beth, Ellie with Molly and you with me."

Carls POV:
He accepted them in. My dad is letting them stay. I gotta say, I was really happy about that. I was running down to them and I was about to tell them.

Kaitlyn looked scared as hell as she stood by Ellie. Daryl was pacing and Ellie was sitting on the ground picking at the grass.

I told them that they were accepted and I told them where they'd be staying. Daryl was with me, Kaitlyn with Beth, and Ellie was with Molly.

I walked them to their cells and they settled in. After they were all settled we have them jobs or something to do. Ellie went to a book reading. Daryl left to go on watch with my dad. Me and Kaitlyn were supposed to do something.

"Whatcha wanna do?" I asked.

"I dunno." She said.

"Wanna farm or go clear out some walkers from the gate, or we could-"

"Let's go clear some of the walkers." She cut me off with.

I nodded and we headed down. I grabbed a crowbar and the machete. I handed Kaitlyn the crowbar and we started.

After a few hours I asked. "How Ya doing?"

"Well its 80 degrees out here, I'm covered in sweat and still not satisfied."

"Let's go get some water then. We can continue after."

She shrugged and followed me up. We went inside the cell block getting a cold burst of air. She let out a breath into the air.

"Let's wait in here. We can continue tomorrow." She said sitting down.
