Ricks POV:
Ellie was good. But I wasn't sure about her age. But Carl was right. He was 9 when I taught him. All I did was nod and leave. I was the black no really hard.

My hands were tied. Half of me wanted to let her, half of me saying not to. I don't know what to do. That was before my good side kicked in.

I'm letting her be one of us. She's keeping her gun. That was three hours after I saw her performance. I was waking closer to her cell. I walked by Carl and Kaitlyn's room.

"Carl, Kaitlyn come here."

They followed me. My boots clanging against the concrete. I stopped at her cell and she sat up and looked at me. She had a knife in that had speckles of paint on it. Kaitlyn and Carl circled around me. They were all looking at me.

"I've decided that I will let her continue but don't go outside the gate again."

"Dad." Carl said.

"No going outside the gates." I demanded

Carl groaned and left out of the room. Kaitlyn nervously smiled at me and Ellie followed out.

"Ellie. Wait a minute." I stopped her.

"Yeah?" She nervously asked

I pulled out a gun from being tucked behind my back. I handed it to her. I told her to follow the rules and not to play with it. She nodded and she left the room. I stood alone in the silenced cell. I'm rethinking this whole Ellie thing.
