Kaitlyn's POV:
I woke up to blue eyes. Obviously they belonged to Carl. I rubbed my eyes and sat up on my bunk. Swinging my legs off the bed I fell and stumbled. Carl caught me. He let go and I stepped away blushing. I shook it off and continued the conversation.

"We're teaching Ellie how to shoot today." He whispered.

"What time is it?" I asked yawning

"Early. Ellie's waiting." He said.

"Why didn't you wake me up earlier." I said grabbing my holster and gun fastening it onto my hip and thigh.

I was digging around grabbing things for our lesson.

"I was letting you sleep. Not many of us get to sleep." Carl whispered.

I stopped shuffling around. I lifted my hands out of the drawer and pushed it in quietly. Hands set on the closed drawer, I hung my head down taking a long breath.

"Why?" Is all I asked.

"You needed it." He said after a slight silence.

I moved my hands off the drawer and lifted my head. Beth's mirror showed my reflection. I don't know what to feel right now. I'm lost.

"Kaitlyn?" I heard my name and looked at Ellie standing in the doorway with Daryl's old pistol.

"Let's go." Carl said walking away. Ellie followed.

"I'll be there in a minute." I said.

I looked up at the mirror again. I am so mad at myself. I just want to shatter the glass. My fist chef and I was about to punch the reflection it showed.

"You can break it if you want." I heard a voice with a small county twang say.

Beth stood at the door with Carl's sister Judith. "I have to go." I said and I sped out grabbing my jacket.

Beth's POV:
I've been up all night with Judith. I went back to the cell me and Kaitlyn stayed in. Carl and Ellie walked out. I stood at the doorway and watched as she almost shattered the mirror I found.

She sped out of the room when I said she could break it. I sighed and watched as she jogged out the door with her jacket.

Ellie's POV:
I held the gun outside with Carl. He was showing me how to hold it. Kaitlyn came down to us.

"We ready to go?" She asked.

"Yeah!" I said putting the safety on the pistol.

"Come on. We can't be too long. My dad doesn't know we're leaving the prison. Especially teaching you how to shoot. He can't know. It's our little secret. " Carl said starting to head to the gate we entered in.
