Ellie's POV:
"Kaitlyn! Carl!" I said running into the cell block.

She came out of Carl's cell concerned. Carl behind her with his gun in hand. I stopped breathing hard and pinned my lips together. Kaitlyn took a deep breath and stood with relief. Carl put his gun away and stood by Kaitlyn.

"Ellie you scared the hell out of us."

My face looked concerned I could tell by the glimmer on their eyes. "The gate it's going to fall!" I said scaredly.

"Oh shit!" They said at the same time.

They started to run out of the cell block drawing their guns. I followed behind scared to death. I stood at the gate watching. Everyone at the gate yelling, killing and holding up the gate.

I looked to my left and there was the bin of guns. I picked one up a and pulled back the receiver. I glanced at the gate, then back at the gun. Over and over again. Screaming and yelling, looking scared as hell. Gate caving in.

I gripped the gun and sprinted down to the gate. I started to shoot with Kaitlyn and Carl. We struggled with the gate for a while. When we got in under control we reinforced the gate with poles holding it up.

"I want the gate to be cleared slowly. I want it watched and I want the walkers all gone." Rick demanded.

Daryl looked at me with the gun in my hand. "Good job kiddo." He said.

I shook my head and dropped the gun. "I killed them. I killed people." I said backing away.

Daryl's POV:
"You didn't kill people. Those things aren't people. Those people are dead."

"I killed them though."

"You saved us all." I said squatting down to Ellie's level.

I pulled my gun out and handed it to her. She held it loosely. "Keep this. Protect yourself. You saved us all and we need you to help us out."

"Me and Kaitlyn can teach you!" Carl said out of breath.

"You in?" I asked.

She looked around. Everyone leaving, Carl and Kaitlyn waiting for a answer, and the walkers growling. She nodded.

•ONE DAY LATER•

Carl's POV:
"Hey K wake up." I whispered to Kaitlyn.

Her eyes fluttered open shining her bright green eyes. Kaitlyn sat up and swung her legs off the top bunk. She jumped down. She stumbled towards me and caught her as she almost fell over. I let go of her. I was blushing and her cheeks turned pink.

"What?" She said changing the subject.

"Oh, yeah we're teaching Ellie how to shoot today."
