A few weeks into October, and it was time for the first Hogsmeade trip of the year. Cedric and Sadie met up in the courtyard. Cedric handed Minerva his slip, and the two headed on the Hogsmeade, hand in hand.
"So, what do you want to do?" Sadie asked. "I know Hogsmeade like the back of my hand. I can even give you a full-blown tour complete with introducing you to each and every resident and shop keeper of the village. Nothing here is new to me, so it's entirely your choice as to what we do."
Cedric smiled. "I'd like to try some butterbeer. I haven't had any before. Mum always told me it would be too sweet for my likings."
Sadie laughed. "Well, maybe not too sweet, but it is rather sweet. Personally, I think you'd love it. Besides, I owe my Aunt Ro a visit anyways."
The couple went to the Three Broomsticks. They pushed open the door. Sadie pulled Cedric over to the table where she had first met the Weasley brothers, Charlie and Bill. She sat where Bill had sat, and Cedric sat in Charlie's seat.
Rosmerta walked over. "Hello, welcome to the Three Broomsticks. How may I-"
"Hello, Aunt Ro." Sadie smiled up at the woman who appeared very startled. Sadie smirked. "Oh, come, now, Rosmerta. Tell me you didn't forget that I would finally be able to visit you during the Hogsmeade weekends now. After all, I am a third year."
Rosmerta closed her open mouth and hugged the girl. "No, I didn't forget. I just figured you'd be checking out the Shrieking Shack or something."
Sadie laughed. "You mean the place you took me to see every day during the first year I stayed with you? Yeah, I think I'm good."
Rosmerta chuckled. "Well, looks like my shy little caterpillar has turned into quite the beautiful yet sarcastic little butterfly."
Sadie smiled. "Thanks, Aunt Ro."
Rosmerta then just seemed to notice Cedric. Her mouth fell back opened. "Wow! You work fast, Butterfly!"
Sadie shook her head. "Unless you consider two years of friendship and me going into a depressed state fast, I wouldn't agree with that statement."
Cedric smiled, wrapping an arm around Sadie's shoulder. "So, this is your 'Aunt Ro?'"
Sadie smiled and leaned into him. "Yeah. Aunt Ro, this is Cedric Diggory."
Rosmerta raised an eyebrow. "Amos Diggory's boy?"
Cedric grinned. "So you know my father?"
Rosmerta smiled. "Oh, boy, do I know your father. I remember when he used to come for Hogsmeade weekends. He was in the same year as Lily and the Marauders. And your father, Sadie."
Sadie nodded. "Their first year was in 1971."
Rosmerta winked. "Well, you two need anything?"
"Two Butterbeers, please." Sadie handed Rosmerta two sickles and two Knuts, twice the standard price for one butterbeer seeing as they had ordered two. Rosmerta smirked and handed her the Knuts back.
"Employee discount," she explained.
Sadie rolled her eyes. "Fine, but keep the Knuts. It's a tip." She simply pulled one of Rosmerta's pockets open and threw the coins inside.
Rosmerta laughed. "Stubborn girl."
A few moments later, Sadie and Cedric were enjoying some Butterbeer. Sadie looked over at Cedric and laughed. He had a foamy mustache from the drink. She took a napkin and wiped it away.
