A girl ran after her and calls her.
"Amber! Can I join with you?"
Amber got a bit curious but since she saw that the girl just wanted to walk alongside her she just nod as an agreement.
"Ahm, Sure."
She smiles after. So they silently walk going to the school gate and home.
Well the girl, even though being shy she ask Amber questions.
"Amber."
Amber looked at her while they're walking.
"......"
"Ahm, Can I ask you something?"
"Hmm, Sure. What is it?"
"........."
The girl still being shy to ask her question she then took a deep breath.
"I wanted to ask if you're free..."
Amber looked at the girl and got a curious expression.
The girl bowed her head and her face is getting hot.
"I mean.... Are you free to hang with... you know a stranger.. or should I say a girl wanted to befriend with you."
Well for Amber hanging out with her friend/s is cool but since they just got to talk to each other just now she got a bit shy or nervous. There she goes again with her brain overthinking too much.
The girl is still glancing at Amber and seeing the expression that is showing to Amber's face, she felt sad. She's already thinking that Amber will not hang out with her.
"Amber you don't need to accept my invite.. It's fine if you're not available.."
Then the girl shows a bitter smile.
Since Amber is thinking too much by herself She unable to catch up to what the girl is saying.
"Huh? Sorry can you repeat what you said. I am thinking something."
Knowing Amber being the shy type she scratch the back of her head.
So the girl looked at her again and she felt a little hope that Amber will still hang out with her.
"Oh sorry to caught you off guard about the thing I am saying... I said that if you're not available You are not oblige to come."
The girl is smiling bitterly to get Amber's attention.
"No, It's fine. Sure we can hang out together."
Amber smiled to the girl then the girl felt a heat on her cheeks and bowed her head little.
"So Amber I'll be going now my house is on that corner."
"Oh okay. See you around Alex."
Amber is smiles after what she said to Alex. The girl was a bit surprised on what Amber said to her,
"Ahmmm.... Okay, see you around too Amber."
They bid each other goodbyes and waved their arms. Amber continues to walk to her house.
