"Hey Danny see you around okay? Will be playing again."
"Absolutely! See you again Amber."
*tap * tap * tap
Amber slowly opened her eyes and saw that there's someone staring at her, out of reflects she moved back away.
"Oh my bad. I may have shocked you." said by the lady then smiles. " I just would like to make sure if your seatbelt is fastened because we'll be arriving soon."
"Oh sorry too. I.. I will fasten my seatbelt now. Thank you!" Amber then smiled back to the stewardess.
It's only a few minutes left i'll be setting foot to my new life. I wish that everything will fine but I know this will be hard. I will work hard for this. Fighting amber!
As she were having her thoughts, someone at the airport is waiting for her. It's an agent from the company that scouted her.
"You better make here comfortable okay. Talk to her in english and inform me once you had picked her up."
"Yes sir. I will give you an update." then the agent puts the call down.
Why is the boss so caring about one of the new recruits? Is she that so important? Nah nevermind I am just overreacting to things again. The agent then saw that the flight from LA have landed. He'll just need to wait at the arrival lobby.
While with Amber....
The plane had landed. Amber's heart is beating so fast. Amber then got up from her seat and fetch her backpack on the overhead then slowly walks on the platform to the airport. Amber felt more nervous as she is slowly approaching her way out.
Amber here it is I am officially in South Korea. I am excited and nervous I wish that my parents are here and Jackie to join me to tour around but maybe next time. I will shoot a message to Jackie to let them know that I've arrived safely.
As Amber sent her message to Jackie she thought on how she'll go to her agency she doesn't know the language and the directions. So she thought of walking to the arrival area if there's someone that will be picking her up. While is Amber is looking around the agent already saw her.
Oh there she is. But is she a girl or a boy? But she has long hair so maybe. Agent's thought
(Amber here still has long hair but she wears bit loose pants and a hoodie along with a backpack.)
The agent waved his hand with a cardboard written with the company's name and the name of the recruits. Amber saw it and approached the agent and then bowed a bit for respect.
"Hi sir. I am Amber." Amber smiled to the agent. The agent automatically smiled back and since he himself knows the differences in culture he is a bit surprised that Amber slightly bowed.
"Hi Amber. I am John Kim." John reached out a hand shake to Amber and because of the personality that Amber has. She automatically reached out John's hand and did a bro hug which startled John. And Amber saw John's reaction that she immediately said sorry and apologized for her behaviour.
"Oh I am so sorry Mr.Kim I didn't mean to do that it's a habit that I have eversince. I am really sorry." Amber bowed over and over again. Since John knew Amber's background he understood and didn't got angry to her.
"No worries. It's totally fine. I understand you. Don't worry but just a reminder don't do that again since you know that the differences in culture. You might get scolded if you do that to elders."
"Yes, I promise I will not forget that Mr.Kim. Thank you!"
"It's okay. And I like your personality too so you can call me John only just the two of us." John Laughed a little. Amber then laughed.
"Ahm. Mr. Kim... I mena John. Are we still waiting for someone?"
"Ah yes. He actually passed the audition in LA."
"Oh. so he's a boy?'
John nodded as response.
"Haven't you meet him in the audition?"
"No, I went to the audition on the second day and it was on a different venue."
"I see. Later once he arrive you'll meet him." John smiles.
Hmmm... I got to think of it out of the thousands who went to the audition only two of us got in. So this is really a once of a lifetime chance for me. And I so thank God for this. I will work hard. Amber thought to herself.
Amber and John had a long conversation while waiting for the other recruit to arrived. Once the person that they're waiting for did arrived they now went to the agency and John toured them around and he guided Amber and the other to their respective dormitories.
(A/N: Sorry if there's no interaction between the other trainee here.)
"Amber here's you'll be staying. There are other trainees too living here so its feel comfortable though I know this is your first being away from your family."
Amber looked at John with a bit of sad eyes but still smiled.
"It's okay. I know what I will face here when I go so I did prepared myself."smiled silly.
"That's good but take care okay if ever you need someone to talk to send me a message. Here's my number by the way." John reached out his calling card to Amber.
"Woah, thank you so much. Ahm John if I may ask?"
John looked at her questioningly, "Sure what is it?"
"Ahm is there any near convenience store here? Just in case.."Amber giggles shyly and scratch her nape. John responds smiling.
"Yes there is. Just around the corner right beside that alley." Pointed out John.
"Oh that's cool. Thanks! I think get my stuff inside so that I could settle in. Thanks again." Amber smiles thankfully.
"My pleasure Amber. That's right you better get in. It's also getting late. You'll be going back to the agency to do workshop or classes and you'll be assisted there."
"So you won't be there?"
"I won't. I am actually not assigned in the office so we'll seldom see each other but if in case you need something you got my number. So just ping me, okay?"
Amber nodded.
"Thank you again John. hope to see you around. Take care. Bye!" Amber bowed and waves good bye to John.
John smiles and waved his hand.
What a nice kid. I hope she could make it through. I like her positive vibes. Hope to see her again. John thought to himself.
