will parked the car, and the boys bounced out of the backseats of the car, clearly hungry and excited to see the others. the older two of the four followed behind as they made their way to the restaurant they were meeting the boys at. will took this time to ask his best friend about a certain green eyed man.

"so do you like him?" he didn't have to say his name for angel to know who he was talking about.

"i only met him yesterday will, i wouldn't say i know him enough to like him, he's good looking obviously, and from what i know he's a great guy, i feel like weirdly drawn to him, do you know what i mean?" she tried to explain to the taller boy.

"like it's meant to be?" he suggested.

"yeah, maybe. i guess we'll just have to see. he's leaving brighton on the 22nd, and he's obviously here to see george but i want to try and spend more time with him to see if it could go anywhere." the boy nodded his head in agreement, he thought that was. a good idea.

"it could be like some romeo and juliet type shit, just y'know without the suicide. like how it was written in the starts? fate kind of just put you guys together."

"yeah, yeah i guess it could be." the girl smiled, she liked the sound of that.

"will you two hurry up!" tommy's northern accent shouted loudly, making them laugh. clearly the boy was desperate for food. they made it to the restaurant and decide to wait outside for the other three boys, which tommy wasn't happy with but oh well.

"sapnap! my favourite american!" the girl exclaimed, hugging him as she sees them approaching. whilst hugging the boy, she stuck her tongue out at clay who was pouting at her.

"angel! my favourite human!" nick replied in a similar tone, making everyone laugh.

"i thought george was your favourite human?" tommy joked, making george fake a heart broken look.

"you can be my favourite human gogy, it's okay," angel told him, and hugged him too.

they all head into the restaurant, clay and angel going in last.

"you look very lovely, angel." he tells her as he held the door open for her, the compliment making the girl blush.

"thank you, you look very handsome too clay," she told  him, and stood on her tip toes to kiss his cheek as she walked past him, making sure none of the others had seen, or 'simpwastaken' would be started again.

she didn't know what gave her the confidence to do it, but she was happy she did. butterflies swarmed in the boys stomach, his heart raced and he blushed profusely, the girl was so unaware what she was doing to him.

she wasn't wrong though when she said he looked handsome. the restaurant want overly fancy, but it wasn't too casual either. clay wore a pair of black jeans and a button up shirt, as did most of the boys but angel couldn't help but think it clay looked so good.

they get seated at the table, angel sat between nick and will, opposite clay, who sat next to george, and on the other side of him was toby and then tommy. their food was ordered, the waitress clearly had the an eye for george, they kept on flirting, well george tried to but he clearly wasn't the best at it, making everyone else laugh at him when she left.

"what am i meant to say?" the dark haired boy asked, confused and annoyed that he was just being awkward.

"just say, hey mamas, you're hella fine, can i get your digits?" nick suggested, making them laugh at his stupid behaviour.

"say that just without the texan." angel suggests, making nick huff and pretend to be annoyed.

the waitress returned and bought their drinks and food over, and everyone waited for george to say something, but he chickened out at the last minute, making angel feel bad. the waitress, who's nametag read hailey, seemed really sweet, she wasn't too pushy with the fact she thought george was cute which she found nice. she felt bad for hailey, george clearly thought she was pretty he just didn't know how to show it.

after she had delivered the food, angel saw hailey head back over to the door, waiting for customers to enter so she can take them to be seated. standing up, angel excused herself, which confused everyone, and went over to wear hailey was stood.

"hi, excuse me," she said, getting the brunnete girls attention.

"oh hi, is there anything i can get you? is the food alright?" the girl asked, but the taller girl shakes her head, and giggled at the girls automatic response a little.

"no, no the food is great, it's lovely thank you. i'm angel," she introduced, but she could tell that the girl was slightly confused, "my friend george, the dark haired boy on the left is terrible at flirting, but he thinks you're really pretty, if you're single of course, he would love to get your number."

it made angel happy to see the girls face light up, "the cute one think i'm pretty, really?" she said, smiling happily.

"why are you surprised? you are literally stunning," angel complimented, making the girl even happier. angel liked making people happy.

"says you, your dress it literally gorgeous, i'm hailey by the way." the girl introduced herself, offering her a handshake but angel hugged her.

"don't be so formal, we're definitely going to be friends now, i've got a feeling i'll be seeing you more if all goes well with george." she said, which made both girls giggle.

hailey gave angel her number, and the girl went back to her friends, who all looked very happy with her, george smiled from ear to ear when she handed him the small piece of paper with the pretty girls number on it.

"woo, let's go gogy!" tom cheered a little too loudly, making a few older people sat near them shake their heads at them and tut, but they weren't fussed, they were having fun.

everyone congratulated george, happy that he had the girls number. clay couldn't help but look at his little angel opposite him, in awe of her beauty. not only was she gorgeous enough to be a model, but she also had the most beautiful personality. clay adored the way she was so caring to her friends, she had only met george that day but she wanted him to be happy so she did what she could to make him happy.

his angel.

clay liked the sound of that.
