Game night

3 weeks later

"Gabby, you still working" says Chloe coming over to my desk

"Yeah, I have to input this account then I'll be out in 30 minutes" I say

"Good because I'm having game night at my place...and you're coming" Says Chloe giving me that mom look

"Who's coming" I say

"Diggy and his friend you were supposed to meet the night of the company party" says Chloe

"You sure she won't flake this time" I say

"I'm sure, it's all set" says Chloe" See you soon"

Ive been staying at home most days because then I don't seem like a crazy person randomly crying and going through shit. But I've kind of been feeling a little better so I guess game night won't hurt.

I knock on the door and Chloe opens it

"Damn you ain't bring nothing" days Chloe laughing

"You ain't say all of that" I say giving her a hug

"Ah, I'm so glad you came" says Chloe"Gabby this is ambre, ambre gabby"

"I'm sorry about last time, some business came up" says Ambre

She's really cute and she has dreads...I'm interested

"It's fine,I know how that goes" I say" I was just at work an extra bit to get stuff done"

"You want a drink" says Ambre

"Sure" I say

Kehlani POV

"I don't want to go to this dig" I say

"You need to get out, that girl ain't worth your time" says Diggy

"She's going through shit man okay" I say

"Her girlfriend died two years ago and Chloe told me they argued before she died" says Diggy

"What does that have to do with anything" I say

"I'm just saying, you changed...you wouldn't have stood for a bitc...hey baby" says Diggy as Chloe opens the door

"Hey Kehlani, I wasn't aware you would be here" says Chloe"But all are welcome"

"Thanks" I say fake smiling

When I walk in Gabby is on the sofa with some girl. She's putting the moves on gabby heavy. I'm not worried about her though...she told me to leave her alone. I'm sure she going through alot still.

"Is it cool if I watch tv in your living room" says Kehlani

"Sure" says Chloe"It's game time guys"

Gabby POV

"You can't put all those down at one time" says Chloe

"You playing hood rules or not" says Ambre

"Aint no hood rules bruh" says Diggy"You making people draw like 10 and shit is uncalled for"

"Yeah, yeah" says Ambre as everyone laughs

Everyone was drinking and having a good time. I started feeling bad that Kehlani was in there alone but she seemed like she was chilling.

"Let's take a break I need to get my mind right for this monopoly" says Chloe

"Hey you wanna go chill on the back patio for a bit" says Ambre

"Sure yeah" I say getting up from the table

"Seems like they hitting it off" says Chloe as her and Diggy head upstairs
