Chapter 9

Adora's POV

"Good morning Sunshine" Emily's voice rings loud in my ear, my lips twist in to a smile, as annoying as her wake up is, I love her for it. It's been nearly 2 months since school has started, tomorrow is Halloween and I am absolutely pumped.

"Good morning" I call to her.

" What are you wearing for tomorrow? I'm trying to conjure a costume but I cannot decide what I want to be for the life of me" She says slightly frustrated. 

" I thought you wanted to do a couples costume with your boyfriend?" I say smiling at how she started blushing, Draco had asked her to be his girlfriend around a month ago, and let me just tell you they are the cutest damn couple I have ever seen.

" No, He wanted that" She says smirking.

" And you didn't? Wow, Emily, I thought that would be right up your alley" I say surprised.

" Hey, when I do Halloween, I go all out, and I do what I wanna do" She says.

" Wow, good for you girl" I say as I stumble out of bed.

"With that being said, care to do a matching costume with me?" She asked.

" Oh, what happened to the 'I do what I wanna do' speech?" I ask laughing, her mind changes so quickly it hilarious.

" Well, I could do a costume with you and then I could just come up with the costume" She says.

" I hate to tell you Emily but I already have my whole costume planned out" I say and smirk at her as she looks at me as her mouth drops open.

" Wow, what a good friend" She mutters as she heads into our bathroom.

" Hey, I'm happy to help you pick a costume" I say to her.

" Hmm, okay, what do you have idea wise so far?" She asks.

" Well, let me have my shower first then we can discuss this" I tell her.

I head to the bathroom and shut the door behind me, I yank my t-shirt off over my head in a swift motion and strip off the rest of my clothes, I leave them in a pile in the corner of the room, I turn the tap on to my desired temperature and wait for it to heat up,  I hop in and let the hot water pour down my shoulders and down my back, I wash my hair and body and take in the heat for awhile longer.

" Finally, your done, I need your help, come on" She grabs my hand and takes me to sit down on her bed.

" Okay so I was thinking, should I go for a skeleton look or  masquerade ball look?" She asks me holding up two drawings that she had sketched out while I was in the shower.

" Definitely the masquerade look, It's Hot, Draco will like it" I laugh as she blushes again.

"Shut up Adora" She says laughing and hitting me with the sketch book she was working out of.

" Hey I speak only the truth" I say and bite my lip just to mess with her.

" Hey, I don't want you to fall in love with me, that's Cedric's job" She says and this time she laughs as my cheeks blush red.

" It's not like that" I say looking at the ground.

" Oh really?" She asks.

" Yeah" I say.

" Adora, I don't think you have gone a day in the past month without seeing him" She says and raises one of her perfectly done eyebrows.

" So, we have classes together" I say.
