Chapter 10

Adora's POV

"okay, seriously Adora, what is your costume?" Cedric nags me. I shake my head violently, not a single person knew, my costume was from a movie of the muggle world, I'm kinda afraid that no one will get it but I quite like the movie so I'm doing the costume I want.

" Come on Adoraaaaaaa, I wanna know" Emily complains from the other side of the table, Draco's arm hangs over her shoulder, his eyes are on her and only her, he looks at her with pure adoration.

" Nope" I say and shake my head and turn my gaze back down to my plate.

Today was Halloween, and I was more than pumped, the Sytherins always throw the best Halloween parties I've heard, at least that's what Draco claims, Emily and I are invited because of her personal relationship with a Draco Malfoy.

" So whose all gonna be at the party Draco?" I turn and ask Draco.

"Well basically, since the 7th years are in charge of the party, they get to choose the just of who gets to come, and it's only 3rd years and up, but they like me so I was able to invite 2 people instead of the usual 1" He says bragging slightly.

" You coming Cedric?" Emily asked him.

" Yeah, I think so, the whole Hufflepuff quidditch team is invited so I guess that includes me" He says with a smile, Cedric was the seeker on the quidditch team, he really was quite good at it, he had insisted that I come to the first game of the season to come watch him.

" What is your costume?" Draco asks Cedric.

" It's a surprise" Cedric says and looks at me with a smirk.

"What about you Draco?" I ask.

" Um, i'm not really sure, I might just wear a suit and look hot" He said quite full of himself.

" Someone's a little conceded" i mutter loud enough for Cedric to hear, he laughs lightly trying to hold most of his laugh in.

" What was that Blake?" Draco says calling my last name, clearly surprised by my reply.

"Nothing" I say.

"No seriously, What did you say?" He asks somewhat joking because a smile lingers on his face.

" it was just a joke Malfoy, don't get your panties in a bunch" I say and look at Cedric to find he's doubled over in laughter. I smile brightly at him.

" Well we better get going, we gotta get ready for the party" Emily says and grabs my hand and leads me away, I look back to see Draco bright red still from my recent comment, Cedric looks kinda confused.

" Wait, it's like 6 o'clock, the party doesn't start until 9, why do you need to leave now?" Cedric asks confused.

" Oh no, we only have 3 hours" I say to Emily.

"You boys just don't understand, we like looking a certain way" Emily says as we begin to walk off again.

" I'm sure you'll look beautiful with or without the 3 hours" Draco calls after Emily, we laugh and run up to our room.

" Okay, how do I look?" Emily says and I turn to look at her, her hair was done up in loose curls and pinned back delicately with a silver hair accessory, a black lace mask is placed on her face, it shimmers under the light in the room, her outfit is a sweetheart neckline strapless white dress that falls midway down her thigh, it has black lace almost sprouting from the belt in an elegant fashion, the belt it's self it a thick ribbon that it wrapped around her waist tightly and compliments her figure, she paired it with tall black heels that give her some extra height and black gloves that reach up her arm and to her elbow. She looks absolutely gorgeous.
