AN: This book will now concentrate on older jinkook but will have allusions to the past in the form of flashbacks and references. This is not an angsty read and I have tried to make it as fluffy, sweet and fun as I could. I hope you will love and support this story. Please remember to vote and leave a comment. I love reading all your thoughts. 💐😘
23 year old Seokjin rushed over the sidewalk and raced into the Starbucks. He was already running late but he couldn't go to campus without Jimin's Flat White.
He pushed the door open and was glad to find that the place wasn't crowded. The server smiled at the handsome man while he placed his order through rushed breaths.
Wow! He's really gorgeous, she thought, lost in the man's baby soft eyes.
"Thank you Jessa! Jimin will kill me if he doesn't have his coffee," he smiled warmly at her before balancing the 3 coffees with his textbooks and backpack.
He was struggling to hold onto his stuff when out of nowhere, a guy on a hoverboard crashed into him, sending the coffees flying. Seokjin screamed, watching in slow-mo, as the contents of the cups flew in the air, his textbooks scattered and he was pulled into a strong, firm embrace, falling onto the sidewalk.
Everything landed around them in a mess of pages and wet coffee. Seokjin's clothes were soaked through and so were his books.
"Aaaarrrrrrgghhhh!" he screamed as the hot liquid seeped through his cotton shirt, burning his skin. "You stupid fuck!"
He turned and fell over the man who had bumped into him; who was still holding onto him tightly. Their eyes met and Seokjin's coffee muddled brain was still able to register how handsome the stranger was. He too, became lost in the deep pools of warmth in Seokjin's honeyed eyes.
But the moment didn't last long as Seokjin tried to extricate himself from the man. He punched and fumed at him.
"You moron! Look what you did!" Seokjin screamed at the man and pointed an accusatory finger at him.
"I'm sorry. Jeez, what were you carrying? It's all over me! Fuck!"
Seokjin picked up his ruined books and backpack. He shook himself, and ran his fingers over his wet clothes. He groaned miserably as he watched the stranger pick up his own backpack and board. He examined the wheels and found some damage.
"Fuck! My Jetson Aero all terrain Hoverboard! It's fucking ruined!"
"Motherfucker," Seokjin dragged out the word incredulously. "You ruined my clothes, my books and scraped my knee, and you're complaining about that infernal vehicle of Satan! Look at my jeans! It's ripped at the knee."
Seokjin wanted to cry. He loved these jeans. They were a gift from Jimin on his last birthday. He was so wrapped up in his grief that he didn't notice the man was in front of him until he looked up, teary eyed and found his soft eyes on him.
"I'm really sorry. I didn't see you there. You just came out of nowhere."
"NOWHERE! NOWHERE? YOU FUCKING IDIOT! I'M ALREADY LATE AND NOW THIS HAPPENS! OH WHY!"
He stomped his foot in anger and the man couldn't help but giggle. Seokjin was really cute, especially when he was throwing a tantrum. But this only served to anger him more. He screamed expletives at the shocked man and shoved his shoulder. The man stepped back, his expression darkening. He didn't appreciate being shoved like that especially after he had apologized. But Seokjin was intent on continuing. Seokjin shoved him again and almost tripped on the cups lying on the sidewalk. He yelped and the man caught him in time, before his face kissed the sidewalk again.
He gazed at the beautiful Seokjin mesmerized by just how handsome he was. Even with his pink tinged cheeks and red tipped ears, Seokjin was the most cutest person he had ever laid eyes on. He cleared his throat and steadied a harried Seokjin.
The man looked at the blushing Seokjin sheepishly.
"I'm J........." he began but Seokjin interrupted him.
"I don't care who you are! I'm so late," he whined. "Jimin is going to be so mad," Seokjin pouted cutely, completely oblivious at the way the man was gawking at him. Seokjin's pout was the most sweetest thing he had ever seen. He wanted to place his lips over those little rosebuds. His shirt clung to his skin and the man gulped, making out the shape of Seokjin through the sticky fabric.
"Listen, I'm really sorry. I live right across here. You could borrow some of my clothes and I could check out your knee. I promise, I just want to make sure you're okay," the stranger tried.
Seokjin eyed him suspiciously. But what the man said actually made sense. He was too far from his own apartment and he'd need to change and get back; probably miss his first class. He nodded quickly before he could change his mind.
"I'm Jungkook by the way," he introduced himself as Seokjin gathered his wet books and followed him.
"Hi Jungkook By The Way," Seokjin mocked him. Jungkook just smirked at his sass. "I'm Seokjin."
"Hi Seokjin. I'm really sorry about what happened."
Seokjin merely shrugged as they crossed the street and went up to Jungkook's apartment. Jungkook handed him some oversized pullovers and jeans for him to choose from.
Jungkook watched how Seokjin crinkled his cute nose in consideration. He handed him a towel and showed him the bathroom after grabbing some things for himself to change into.
Seokjin made a face at the clothes. They were all black or grey, completely boring but they would have to do. What choice did he have? He sighed and went to clean himself up in the bathroom.
"Thanks I guess," Seokjin tried and Jungkook nodded as he opened the door to let Seokjin out of his flat. He wanted to ask for his number so badly but the look that Seokjin gave him, caused him to lose his confidence.
"No problem. And don't worry about the clothes. You can keep it."
Seokjin just huffed in annoyance and grabbed his stuff. He walked the two blocks to college, still very much annoyed at what had transpired.
"Jinnie Binnie Boo," Jimin cooed as he ran up to Seokjin and jumped onto his back.
Seokjin smiled and held Jimin's hands as they latched onto his wide shoulders.
"I'm sorry baby. I couldn't get your coffee. Some idiot bumped into me and dropped it. He ruined my clothes too. Just look at me!" Seokjin gritted his teeth while Jimin giggled. He cupped Jin's cheek and pecked it quickly.
"Don't be upset my Jinnie Boo. It's okay. We'll get our coffee later. Besides, Yoong's is already here. Look." Jimin pointed at a smaller framed man as he made his way across the quad to them. Seokjin groaned and walked with Jimin to meet him halfway.
"New threads?" Yoongi observed.
"Fuck off Meow. I'm not in the mood today."
Yoongi shrugged and pecked Jimin on his cheek, who giggled cutely. Seokjin rolled his eyes as they chatted and walked to class. His morning was ruined.
