Jungkook sat on the wall outside Jin's faculty and contemplated going inside to find him. It had been a week since he had seen or spoken to Jin and he had realized that he truly did miss him. His sweet smile and soft eyes; his adorable pout and best of all, the way he crinkled his nose, looking like a cute hamster.

Jungkook kicked the small pebbles with his heavy stompers moodily. Maybe Hoseok was right and he should just forget about Seokjin. But the feeling of not seeing Jin's beautiful face ever again, didn't sit right with him. So he sucked up his irritation and moved towards the campus building, only to find Jin himself running out, in complete tears. Jungkook hissed and ran over. Who would dare upset his sweet, adorable Jinnie?

"Everything okay?" Jungkook asked, startling Seokjin, who yelped and jumped back.

"Oh my God! You scared me shitless!" Jin squealed.

Jungkook apologized but stood his ground, watching Seokjin intently.

"Is there anything the matter? I'm sure whatever it is, it will pass. Please don't be sad or upset," Jungkook implored softly. He indicated for Jin to sit with him on the grassy patch outside the building.

Seokjin wiped his tears away and scoffed.

"It's just that..... Ugh, I have to move because my stupid landlord is getting his nephew to move into my apartment and now I have nowhere to live. I thought..... I thought I'd find a place by now but nothing is suiting my budget," Seokjin sighed and tugged at a stalk of grass next to his thigh.

"Hmmmm, can't you stay with Yoongi or Jimin?" Jungkook asked. His heart was beating wildly that he was actually talking to his Jinnie after a week of not seeing him.

"I can't..... I," Seokjin whined and cried more. "Meow lives in the campus dorm and he already has a roommate assigned to him. And Jiminie lives with his parents and they don't have any extra room. I might as well just give up and go home. To think, I only have six more months until graduation."

It was truly a dilemma and Jungkook too became sad and forlorn as he furtively watched Jin. And then he had a most brilliant, intensifying, jumping on the moon, awesome idea! He smiled happily and tried to reign in his enthusiasm before speaking.

"Urm Jinnie, I know you don't actually know me that well or particularly like me, but I just wanted to offer you my spare bedroom. I know it's not ideal and I'm sure you'll have to ask Jimin, but I wouldn't mind at all. I live alone and pretty near our campus too," Jungkook spoke in a rush, eager to get out as much information as possible as he watched Jin's changing expressions. "I mean, only if you're comfortable. And I promise you wouldn't have to pay me or anything because, well, the place belongs to me. My parents bought it for me when I started here."

"Errrr, I don't know Jungkook. I mean, wouldn't that upset Hoseok? He is your boyfriend and I wouldn't wanna make my friend angry you know. Maybe I could ask him if he has a spare room. Just until I find my own place," Seokjin tried.

"Well, Hoseok lives above his shop and it's kind of a studio apartment, so he really has very little room. And, I know he wouldn't mind you sharing with me. He loves you, you know. Like I mean, like a friend obviously," Jungkook said, his ears burning at his slight folly.

"I don't know. I mean, we hardly know each other. Why would you do this for me?" Jin asked softly and Jungkook almost melted. He wanted to pull him into his lap and kiss his cuteness all over.

"Urm, I... I guess I just wanna help you. Well, since you're Hobi's friend and he'll probably kill me if I don't," Jungkook tried again.

He could see Jin's mind working out everything, trying to find a loophole or maybe even a sinister plot. Jungkook was dying inside, his heart almost beating out of his chest waiting for Jin's answer.

"You can discuss it with Jimin and your parents even. Just know that my offer stands. You can stay and even look for a better place if you want to. No pressure."

Seokjin crinkled his eyes cutely in thought while he chewed on his fingertips, a nervous habit that Jungkook had picked up on.

"Well, I guess it would be okay. I'll just speak to my parents and well, you can ask Hobi so there's no issue."

Jungkook smiled widely. He was ecstatic.

"Don't worry Jin. Hobi won't have a problem. You just let me know and I'll even help you get your stuff from your old place. I have a huge ass utility vehicle that I hardly ever use. We can just pile all your stuff in it. You wouldn't even need any furniture since my apartment is fully furnished."

Jungkook was both eager and excited. He hoped that there would be no objections from Jimin or Seokjin's parents. He fished in his pocket for his phone and asked Seokjin for his number, explaining that they could stay in touch. He smiled softly and repeated it for Jungkook who just smiled as he looked at the number he had already presaved. Now he truly had Jin's number and he wouldn't need an excuse to text or call him. He texted Jin a 'Hi', so he would have Jungkook's number too.

"Well, I guess I better head back. I was so worried when my landlord called again to remind me that I only had this week to move out. Thank you Jungkook. I will definitely think about your offer. Talk to you soon."

Seokjin waved and headed back into his faculty, a small, sweet smile on his lips as he watched Jungkook who returned the wave and stood waiting for Jin to go inside until he too turned and headed back towards his own faculty, but not before he whooped and jumped up, striking his hand into the air in victory. Some students passing by stared at him but he didn't care. He was elated.

Seokjin walked to his next class, thinking about Jungkook's generous offer. It was not until he had settled himself beside Jimin that he realized he did not know why Jungkook was hanging out outside the nursing faculty when his own engineering faculty was on the other side of their campus. He shrugged and switched on his recorder as the lecture began.

That very same evening, Seokjin confirmed with Jungkook that he would move in with him the very next day. Jungkook smiled from ear to ear while he screamed for Hobi to tell him the good news. A startled Hoseok, who was busy watching a horror movie on Netflix, screamed at the sudden noise from Jungkook.

"You pabo!" Hoseok squealed and threw his popcorn at Jungkook who dodged it perfectly before plopping onto the couch next to him.

"Jin is going to move in with me!" Jungkook squealed happily.

Hoseok's eyes went wide and his mouth fell agape. An errant piece of popcorn slid down the side of his mouth. Jungkook grimaced and shoved him.

"Why would he move in with you?"

"Oh man, I forgot to tell you. He needed a place to stay so I offered my spare bedroom."

Jungkook wiggled his eyes happily. Hoseok scoffed.

"Why didn't he ask me? He could've bunked with me. I wouldn't have minded."

"Shut up. And don't you dare tell him that. I told him you have no extra room. Now he'll stay with me and I can start on my plan to make him mine." Jungkook rubbed his hands gleefully while Hoseok just scoffed. Jungkook was truly an idiot.
