Jungkook watched as Seokjin pulled and sucked on the lollipop. It was driving him crazy how his thick lips would glide over the top of the pink, circular tip, then making a popping sound. Jungkook groaned inwardly, earning a confused eye crunch from Hoseok. Jungkook just nodded and looked away but the sounds of slurping and popping continued to assault his ears. He had to get out of there.
Hoseok busied himself with the phones while he and Seokjin caught up on all their years apart. Jungkook could barely listen to anything after Hoseok had handed Seokjin the lollipop, a childhood vice of his. But it was too distracting to Jungkook who wanted nothing more than to feel Seokjin's plump lips on his own 'lollipop'. He pretended that he'd received a call and walked out of the store, leaving the two oblivious friends to reminisce.
"So.... Urm, how long have you and Jungkook been going out?" Seokjin twirled the lollipop in his mouth and looked at Hoseok.
Hoseok became all flustered at the question. He had no idea how he should answer it. The problem was, he knew Jungkook would kill him if he told Jin the truth but honestly speaking, he had no idea why Jungkook had lied in the first place.
"Well, er, not long really. But I've known him a long time too. After you left, he moved in and we got really close. We even attended the same school and college. Right now, I'm completing my degree in Computer science and Technology and Jungkook is majoring in Engineering. So our departments are kind of connected. What are you doing now Jinnie?"
Seokjin listened to Hoseok with half an ear. He was more interested in watching Jungkook on the sidewalk as he spoke into his phone. No doubt, Jungkook was extremely sexy and definitely very attractive, but Jin was a little afraid of feeling anything for a virtual stranger that he had only met that day. Also, Jin reminded himself, Jungkook had ruined his best pair of jeans.
So when Jungkook had asked him about Jimin being his boyfriend, Seokjin had panicked and said all those things thoughtlessly.
"I'm studying for my degree in Nursing and so are my friends Jimin and Yoongi. Hey, would you like to meet them? I bet they'd love you!" Seokjin clapped happily and Hoseok nodded his agreement.
Hoseok successfully transferred all the files, just as Jungkook re-entered the store. He watched how both Seokjin and Hoseok were smiling at each other and he groaned, irritated that once again Jin was flirting with another guy. Although, he was thankful that Seokjin had finished with the lollipop. He didn't think he could manage more of that.
"You two seem close," Jungkook observed and Hoseok, taking the hint, laughed nervously.
"Urm, Guk, would it be alright if I took Jinnie back to his friends? I'd like to meet them too."
Jungkook just shrugged. He pocketed the papers that had the details for Seokjin's new phone and handed him the packaging with a soft smile. Seokjin blushed shyly and took it, thanking Jungkook once again. A bewildered Hoseok, cleared his throat knowingly, until Jungkook turned and scowled at him.
"Let's go. Tae and Joon are also at the ice cream shop, waiting for me. I just texted them," Jungkook said and walked outside.
Hoseok locked up his shop and they hailed a taxi to take them back. The cab ride was very uncomfortable. Jungkook kept trying to hold Hoseok who was having none of that. He kept slapping his hands away, while Jungkook argued with him using his eyes. Seokjin looked out of the window moodily, trying to avoid what the couple next to him were doing. He was happy when they finally got back to his friends.
"Jiminie....... I missed you," Seokjin said, going to hug the cute little mochi who giggled happily at having his Jinnie Boo back. "Meow, this is my friend Hoseok and well, you know Jungkook," Seokjin introduced them, still hugging Jimin while an irate Jungkook looked on.
