Raelle's POV

My brother and I are at our grandparent's house, Our parents told us that we would be staying here for the weekend. Right now my brother and I are playing volleyball in the backyard. He has loved volleyball for as long as I can remember, he even told me that he wants to become a professional player, and of course, I believe that he can. Volleyball is just one of my hobbies, I had other plans although the reason why I'm playing right now is that my brother bribed me with food. He told me that he would buy me ice cream and who would say no to ice cream??? anyways-

" OW! Wakatoshi what was that for?!?!" i said after the ball went flying to my face.

"I'm sorry jeez" he said

"fine but you owe me 2 ice creams now" i said

"fine let's play more" he said

As I was about to serve the ball our grandmother called us to go inside.

"Hey gramps, what do you need?" i asked after kissing her cheeks.

"Your parents are here, they said they wanna talk to the both of you" she said.

"hmm... that's weird they said they wouldn't be able to here this weekend cuz they were busy... oh well" i thought

When my brother and I went in we saw our parents in the living room and they asked us to sit with them.

"Hey princess and Toshi, your mom and I have something to say" dad said

" I don't know an easy way to say this but you're moving to america with your dad" mom told me

"wait but what about you and Toshi?? Aren't the both of you gonna come with us??" i asked

"princess i'll explain everything once you grow up, you wouldn't understand right now" dad said

" I don't understand, why does elle and dad have to go?? toshi asked

"Your mom will explain everything to you toshi once you're old enough" dad said

"Your father and Elle are moving to America in 2 days, we can still say goodbye to them properly" mom said

I'm on the verge of tears, I don't understand what's going on, why do we have to move?? I wanna be with Toshi. Did something happen between mom and dad???

"Now come, we're going home. We're gonna spend the last 2 days together" mom said

As we're on the way home, no one dared to speak, It's so silent, the only thing you could hear are the engine, cars passing by, and some honks from other cars.

As we arrived home it was dark already so I took a light wash and changed into my pajamas. I decided to go to the kitchen and help mom in cooking. I may be 10 years old but every time my mom cooks I was always watching beside her until one day she decided to teach me too although I can only cook fried eggs and bacon and some instant ramen. I guess tonight mom decided to cook some udon and tonkatsu.

After dinner we went to bed, as I was trying to sleep, someone came knocking on my door. I found out it was just Toshi, he told me that he couldn't sleep and that he wants to talk. So I patted the space on the right side of my bed and he sat there leaning on the bedframe.

"Hey Toshi what's up?" i asked

"You know I'm gonna miss you so much when you move" he said
