𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫'𝐬 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫

Raelle's POV

"WAKE YOUR ASS UP BITCH" Elys shouted

I suddenly felt something thrown at me. I fluttered my eyes open, and lightly rub them. I grabbed the nearest thing beside me, which happens to be my phone charger, and threw it in her direction.

"OMG STFU IT'S TOO EARLY FOR THIS SHIT" i yelled back

"BITCH WE HAVE TO GO TO SCHOOL, GET UP" she yelled back and left my room

Right, I forgot that summer's over. Great now I have to get up early five times a week for the next nine months. I hate school with a passion. It's not helping with my mental health, instead, it keeps making it worse.

I got up and went to the bathroom to do my routine. Once I'm done, I walked towards my closet and got my uniform. Shiratorizawa's uniform is actually decent. It's a white blazer with a black line on the tip of the collar, a light blue polo shirt, gray long-sleeve v neck sweater, a checkered dark purple bow, and a checkered dark purple skirt. Pair with knee-length socks and black school shoes. It's my first time wearing a uniform because back when I was still in the US they didn't really require a uniform.

I got my school bag and went downstairs, I saw Elys in the kitchen with two smoothies. I walked towards her, and she gave me one of the smoothies. I glanced at the clock, and notice that we're gonna be late on our first day if we decided to finish our breakfast here. 

"let's just drink this on the way to school, we're gonna be late if we're staying here" i told her

We got our bags and walked towards our elevator. We're gonna take the bus, for now, Once the bus arrived we chose a seat and pay.

"Is Wakatoshi gonna be there too?" she asked

"ofc, that man loves Shiratorizawa too much, and besides this is his last year there" i told her

"good more people to annoy, and I almost forgot he's a third-year" she said

"i just hope he doesn't have any fangirls that are a bitch" i said

"I second that" she said

We arrived at Shiratorizawa and proceeded to walk towards our building. The both of us are in the same class together. It took a minute to find the classroom, but thank fuck we weren't late. We went inside the classroom and looked around to find a seat. There were two seats available in the back, so we walked in that direction. I also noticed that we're in the same class with Shirabu.

"are they new?" 

"They look familiar"

"isn't that Raelle and Elys"

"them chicks are hot man" i rolled my eyes at that comment

I heard people whispering while looking at us. This wasn't really new to us, so we simply just ignore them. As soon as we took a seat, Our class adviser arrived. She looks a little strict ngl. 

"Ohayogozaimasu, I will be your class adviser this year, I'm Fujioka Emiko, you can call me Emiko Sensei" she said

The whole class greeted her back.

"We have two new students who transferred here this school year, so pls come in front and introduce yourselves" our sensei said

Elys stood up and walked towards the front and introduce herself, while she was introducing I heard some of our classmates whispering, it's nothing bad, so I just ignored it and snickered softly. Once she was done introducing herself, I got up from my seat and walked towards where she was standing a few seconds ago.

"Watashi wa Ushijima Raelle, you can call me Raelle, um I like playing volleyball, surfing and skating. I just transferred here from America, and I hope you'll treat me well, um that's all" i said

Our sensei looks a bit shocked when I said my last name, so did some of our classmates. 

"are you by any chance the Vixen of The Wave?" one of our classmate asked

I simply nodded and said yes

"Ushijima? Are you related to Ushijima Wakatoshi by any chance?" one of them asked again

"i didn't wanna get asked with this question but oh well" i thought to myself

"yes, uh he's my older brother" i replied then walked back towards my seat

"Now that the introductions are over, let's proceed to our class" our sensei said

A few hours and classes later, our school bell ringed indicating that it's lunchtime already. Elys and I sling our bags on our shoulder and left the classroom. One thing we forgot to check is where the cafeteria is located. Luckily I spotted Shirabu. I asked him for the directions, but he insisted that he can take us there.

Once we arrived at the cafeteria, he excused himself and parted ways with us. The cafeteria was large, a bit packed too, but a lot of people can still find a table. Today's menu was Japanese Cuisine, so I got prawn tonkatsu, miso soup, and an iced tea. Elys got some menchi katsu curry and a peach soda.

As we were finding a table, I heard someone call our names. I looked towards the direction where I heard it and saw that it was Satori.

"Yo Elle, Elys Come eat with us!" Satori shouted, and everyone looked in our direction.

We walked towards where he is, and I noticed that most of the men's volleyball team are there. Now I'm wondering how I didn't notice that my giant brother. There was a spot next to him, so I decided to sit there instead while Elys sat next to Satori.

"Sooooo tryouts later for volleyball" Satori sang

"yeah, I'm actually planning on trying out" Elys said

"you should, their coach is as good as ours" Reon said

"Elle what about you? I heard Coach Washijo and Tamura wanted you to tryout" Satori asked

"yeah, u should try out too" Semi said

"idk ya'll, I'm still thinking about it" i replied

"you should" my brother said bluntly

"of course ur gonna say that" i said snickering

"That's actually kinda cool, like if you get in the both of you will be known as The Ushijima Siblings" Satori said emphasis on the ushijima siblings

"Tendou no" Semi and Reon said

"Besides I'm trying out too, so let's tryout together" Elys said

"alright, alright, fine, I'm gonna tryout" i said

Lunch went by pretty quickly. We went back to our respective classrooms to resume classes. We've got about three subjects left before club activities and dismissal.
