Raelle's POV

I'm contemplating on telling them but they deserve to know.

"I need to tell ya'll something" i said 

"What is it ur scaring me" Landon said looking scared

"Did I do something wrong?" Ash asked remembering that one time he stole the sweatshirt that you thought was missing.

"no dumbass let her finish" Elys said hitting the back of his neck

I told them about how I wanted to move back to Japan but I haven't told my father yet. I told them that I'm planning on moving there after summer. They were supportive tho. Ash even said to send him Japanese snacks every month which resulted in Landon hitting him.

Throughout the night we decided to watch shingeki no kyojin. Elys was shouting at the tv bcuz Levi chose Armin instead of Erwin when he should've chosen Erwin and I disagreed which lead to an argument.

"LEVI WAS RIGHT TO CHOOSE ARMIN, CATERPILLAR BROWS NEEDS TO REST" i yelled

"NO ERWIN IS SMARTER AND HAS MORE EXPERIENCE IN LEADING" she yelled back

"i agree with Elle, he has been through a lot and led a lot of soldiers to their deaths, mans deserve some rest" ash said calmly

"SEE EVEN THIS DUMBASS AGREES, ARMIN WAS THE RIGHT CHOICE I MEAN C'MON ERWIN LITERALLY MOVED THE INJECTION AWAY FROM HIM" i yelled back

"GUYS STFU IT'S JUST A SHOW" Landon suddenly yelled which resulted in us giving him a glare and us almost beating the shit out of him

The night went on with a couple more arguments here and there then Elys told us that she's planning to break up with her girl because it wasn't working out anymore. We decided to comfort her but we ended up falling asleep in the living room. Dad arrived home and saw us sprawled out in the couches while the tv was still on. He decided not to bother us and just leave us there.

The next morning we woke up to the smell of waffles. I saw my dad cooking and he told my friends that they can stay over and eat breakfast. 

I decided today was the perfect day to tell my dad about moving to Japan since it's his day off. Two years ago, dad told me the reason why we moved here, and I understood. It still sucks to I miss mom and Toshi. I also found out that mom remarried someone. I haven't met him yet so I don't know what's he like.

Dad told me the reason why they broke up is that he found out that he is gay. Of course, I support him. I even threw a coming-out party for him. I decided to invite some of his close friends who know that he's gay along with my friends. 

After breakfast, they all decided to go home and they told me to go to our meetup place. I said that I might be a little late because I'm planning to tell my dad today. 

I told dad everything and he told me that it was fine, he said that he'll help me book the flight and help me find an apartment. He helped me find which school I should go to.

Yes. I decided to get an apartment cuz I don't really wanna live with someone I don't know. I know mom and Toshi also lives there but it's better to be careful.

Summer went by pretty fast. We entered the surfing competition, Elys winning first place and I ended up winning 2nd place, Ash ended up being 8th place, and Landon being in 12th place which resulted in him losing the bet.

Elys's family also ended up deciding to move to Japan because her parents got an offer for a job. I told her that she can just move into my apartment when she goes there instead of dorms. She was of course down with that idea.

My flight is in two days, and in those 2 days, My friends and I decided to hang out together. A couple of trips to Santa Monica Pier, going to abandoned places, and us almost getting caught by a cop. More surfing and skating. Surfing is definitely one of the things that I will miss the most when I move back to Miyagi.

Those two days went by pretty fast because the next thing I know I'm at the airport along with my dad and friends. As we were saying goodbyes my flight was called.

"This is the final boarding call for passengers booked on flight 395B to Sendai Airport. Please proceed to gate 5 immediately. The final checks are being completed and the captain will order for the doors of the aircraft to close in approximately five minutes time. I repeat. This is the final boarding call for passengers on flight 395B. Thank you."

"That's my flight guys, see ya when I visit" i said while Landon is still clinging onto me

"Landon let her go she's gonna miss her flight" Ash said

Landon said goodbye as he let go of me

"I'll see you next week asshat" Elys said

"See you soon princess" dad said

I waved at them before entering the gate and saw m dad on the verge of tears. Kinda surprising cuz he rarely shows emotions in public. The flight attendant checked my ticket and assisted me to the first-class area. 

I decided to turn on Netflix and wait until the plane arrives in Japan. Throughout the ride, I slept a lot, ordered a couple of meals, and listen to some music.

It was a pretty boring and tiring flight. A few hours before landing I decided to take a bath on the plane. Yes, there are bathrooms in planes. I started keeping my stuff in my bag. But before landing, we had one more meal and I decided to order some sushi and some sashimi and for dessert some crepes.

"Ladies and gentlemen, Welcome to Sendai Airport. Local time is 8:00 pm and the temperature is 35 degrees fahrenheit. " 

I heard the plane landing and decided to check my phone. I saw that mom texted me, telling me that she's going to pick me up. She also told me that Toshi wouldn't be here as he was tired and fell asleep.
