𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐇𝐨𝐦𝐞

Raelle's POV

I'm finally back home 

I got up and get my bag and headed towards the exit. I saw my mom waiting for me with a board with my name on it. I ran towards her and hugged her, almost falling through the process. 

"Let's go to the baggage claim and get your bags" mom said

As we waited for my bags, we talked about some things I did in America. She mentioned that time when I got suspended from school for 2 days. I was wondering where she heard that but then she told me that dad told her. 

Although my parents got divorced they still tend to talk mainly just about us, they barely talk about something else. Dad sends some money to mom to help her raise Toshi and he also sends separate money to Toshi for the things he wants. Sometimes he even sends him some clothes he made before releasing them to the public.

As we're approaching the car a person suddenly approached me and told me that they recognize me and asked me for a picture. It was quite a bit weird although I experienced it also back in America. 

Some people recognize me because of my dad, some recognize me because of the surfing competitions I joined, some because of my youtube account which I rarely post considering I only made it for fun.

We got into my mom's car. It was already late and I noticed that the traffic here isn't as bad as the traffic in America. On the way to my mom's house, she mentioned that my stepdad is there. 

I'll be staying at mom's house for 3 days until all of the furniture in my apartment arrives. At first, she didn't understand why but in the end she did which I'm thankful for. I went to my old bedroom and I noticed that it still looks the same. It was clean, mom probably cleans this every week. My old stuffed toys and toys were still there, I also noticed that my bedsheets were still pink. 

I started to unpack some of my clothes. I decided not to unpack most of them since that I won't be staying here permanently. I hung some of my clothes in my closet and I noticed that my old volleyball is still there. It looks like it has been through a lot. 

After I finished unpacking I heard my mother calling me. I guess it's time to meet my stepdad. I went downstairs and saw that they were sitting in the kitchen. I greeted them while approaching. Mother patted the chair next to her asking me to sit there. She introduced me to him and I found out that his name is Aoki. I still don't trust him but I can see that my mom is happy to be with him.

It's pretty late now so I decided to go to my room and look for schools here in Miyagi. I know that my brother is attending Shiratorizawa, which is a good school but I'll be looking at other schools too just in case.

There are a couple of good schools here such as Karasuno, Aoba Johsai, Shiratorizawa, Date Tech, Wakutani, and Johzenji but there a 3 particular schools that caught my eye which is Shiratorizawa because it's close to my apartment and I heard that it's a great school, then Karasuno since I know someone there and last but not the least Aoba Johsai, It's a private school like Shiratorizawa and I also heard that it's a power school.

In the end, I ended up deciding to take the entrance exams for 2nd year of the top 3 schools that I chose. I took the exams online and they told me that I should come to their school tomorrow for an interview. 

I move to my closet and search for the outfit that I'm gonna be wearing for tomorrow. I got up and do my night routine as I stifled a yawn. The twilight melted away and the orange ball of fire rose through the sky. The sun peeked through the windows. I was suddenly woken up by a loud banging on my door.

A familiar tall brunette male peeked through my door making himself welcome. He then started approaching me and he suddenly attacked me with a hug.

"Look I know that you missed me but you need to get off me, you're too heavy" i said after yawning

"This is the first time I saw you in 5 years and this is how you greet me?" Toshi said

"Yes" i replied

"Some sister you are" he said

"I'm kidding now come here" i said getting up and hugging him. I noticed that he grew a lot. Back then when we were still kids I was taller than him. Now, he looks like a tree. I also noticed that he got buff over the years and the resemblance between him and our dad.

"You grew taller although I'm still taller tho" he suddenly said ruining the moment

"oh shut up bigfoot and get out Imma get ready for the day" i said breaking the hug

He then left the room. I fluttered around my room to complete my morning routine: I took a bath, brushed my teeth, and got dressed up for the day. Once all of those were done I heard our mother saying that breakfast is ready. I made my way downstairs and saw all of them sitting in the dining area. I sat next to my brother and began eating.

Today I decided to visit my apartment to see what it looks like in person. I also need to go to the schools I applied to for my interview.

"Btw mom I have 3 interviews today for the schools I applied to" i said

"Which schools?" Aoki asked

"Shiratorizawa, Aoba Johsai, and Karasuno" i replied

"Karasuno? You should come to Shiratorizawa" my brother suddenly said

"I like options ok and I need you to come with me later to check my apartment" i said

"I have training this morning and why did u buy an apartment" he said

"Cuz I want to and that's why I said later dumbass" i said

After a couple of persuasions, he finally said yes. We continued eating our breakfast while talking here and there. Once we're done I decided to help my mom with the dishes and after that I said goodbye.

"Ya'll I'm heading out" i said while getting my skateboard. I could've taken my car 'cause I already have my international license but I'm not legally allowed to drive here yet. My dad and I decided to ship my car here in Japan so that I don't need to buy a new one.
