Chapter VIII: Preparations

*Blake's POV*

I was in the cafeteria looking out of the window, Weiss was next to me while the half sisters were oposite us.

Blake: "It's been too quiet."

Ruby: "Quiet? No the students are always making some noise."

Blake: "No, I didn't mean it like that Ruby.. it's been quiet since I saw Y/N being... in the city."

Yang: "What about that assassination though?"

Blake: "That couldn't be Y/N... and I heard there were multiple people." Weiss who was next to me growled.

Weiss: "That Night Raid scum... everyone is suspecting them."

Yang: "But they haven't striken at night this time.. so is it now Day Raid?"

Blake: "Stop Yang. Your puns are annoying."

Yang: "What was that?!"

Ruby: "Isn't it possible.... for him to be part of them?"

Blake: "Yang they are- wait Ruby what did you say?"

Ruby: "That your brother could be part of those assassins."

Blake: "You-... that's a valid point, he could be with them. But I know he's reckless... they wouldn't allow him."

Weiss: "Reckless or not he might be very dangerous."

I noticed team JNPR coming to our table.

Jaune: "Hey team RWBY!! How's it going?"

Weiss: "You're awfully cheery Jaune."

Nora: "What are you talking about girls."

Pyrrha: "Yeah I'm curious too."

Ren: "Me as well."

Ruby: "We're talking about Blake's brother."

Pyrrha: "Your brother? What about him?"

Ruby: Well we think he might be in Night Raid."

Jaune: "Why would you think that."

Pyrrha: "Hm... Nora we met someone who looked like Blake's brother running away from the shot of that merchant."

Blake: "You did?"

Nora: "Yes we did... what did he say his semblance was?"

Pyrrha: "He can make everything flamable explode."

Blake: "Huh... I never saw my brother's semblance nor has he told me what it does. But to be honest that would suit him the most."

Weiss: "Wait did you say he was running away from the shot?"

Ren: "They mentioned that."

Blake: "He couldn't kill him with a gun... I know Y/N can't shoot at all."

Pyrrha: "He was not alone."

Yang: "There was someone else with him?"

Nora: "Yes, a pink haired girl, wearing everything pink."

Ruby: "What happened."

Nora: "We surprised them, caught the girl but then we fell due to an explosion. When we looked at the source we saw probably Blake's brother."

Jaune: "Why didn't you two take them here with us."

Pyrrha: "We were in a forest, a very flamable thing, do you think trying to lead them away would let us live?"

Blake: "Hmm it was not and now at least we know that he's in Night Raid."

Yang: "It seems so."

Blake: "I need to tell this to my parents."
