Fizz

Remember in the begining,

When you were stairing into the eyes,

Eyes of the sun,

And you were drawn in,

Like a fish on a hook,

And a butterfly in a net.

Your stomach feels bubbly,

Like the fizziest soda that the bad boys shook up,

And you are giddy,

Happy,

And just so unexpected.

But these days,

Even the fizziest sodas go flat,

And the eyes of the sun turn dark like the moon,

And you are confused,

Angery,

And just so... so...

Hurt and just plain sad.

Sad doesn't discribe much,

But when you are at a loss for words,

It will do fine.

And you are left with an empty stomach,

The bubbles were let out,

And you are drained like a bathtub,

But this time you will never agin be full.
