Song

It's any other night in your cold lonely life,

And you drink from the cup of dreams that were crushed,

Like the cristmas orniment that the fell off the top of the tree,

The one that was passed down from your grandmother, the last airloom,

All after she signed her last will and testament,

You look out at the window and see the kids of the future dance in the new moon light,

Their eyes twinkle with the blue and brown of hope,

Your eyes were twinkly too, but you lost that life years ago,

The evils in this world are a terrible foe,

But with kids that dream of a winter fairy that brings us the first snows,

We can have a futrue worth while,

Though hope is frail in the grown ones,

The youth have hearts of steel exterior, and insides soft as your baby blanket,

Tucked away and stuck in a box of old pictures and kindergarden books,

So it'll be okay, your life will have light as long as there's hope,

Hope that winter will end and spring will begin,

Hope that the sick will become well again,

Hope that your loved ones will return,

So you should hope that hope will never fade,

And if you do, if you dream of hope and innocense,

Then it won't ever fade away.
