The room was so quiet, the only sound left was the sound of breathing and the rustling of the pen on the paper. Outside the window, it was pouring, dripping drop by drop on the window with a dull patter.

"Finished signing?" asked, inclining his head when he saw USSR stopped writing.

"Hmm." USSR glanced at the other man, then handed the treaty over.

"The weather isn't very nice." The German seemed to be trying to strike up a conversation and pulled it out casually.

"Indeed." USSR nodded.

"So indifferent? We're allies now." Third Reich moved up, the warm fabric squeezing into the other man's fingers, his breath pressing steeply closer, perfectly swallowing up the safe distance.

The Soviet took a step back and shook his head to indicate not to get too close, earning a sneer from the German.

Interesting. Third Reich stared into the man's single golden eye with hostility.

He knew I was his enemy.

So he's a dangerous opponent.

It was a fairly breezy afternoon, sunlight spilled into the room. On the mahogany table lay a contract in black and white, glinting blindingly white in the sunlight from the floor-to-ceiling window.

The German stood by thewindow, not far from the treaty.

"You should have expected that." Third Reich smiled. A cruel, distant smile.

The Soviet froze.

The paper between the white gloves instantly turned into halves with a hiss, and Third Reich tossed the treaty, which had already became pieces, to the ground and turned to walk out the door.

USSR looked at the countless pieces of the treaty on the ground and suddenly realised, the picture he had imagined countless times in his head pieced together, but he could not.

Third Reich walked out the door and sneered.

"Good luck, my archenemy."——————————————————————————————————————————————————

The damp walls crashing against the sound of footsteps, pounded into Third Reich's ears over and over again. Moss started growing on the last few steps, the footsteps sounds a little slippery.

He leaned his head against the wall behind him.

Third Reich was silent.

He heard the sound of a bullet being loaded.

"Indeed, you are my enemy." Third Reich took out his pistol and slowly loaded it, "But I think we are also considered old friends, right? After all, we've known each other for so long too ......" He put the gun against his temple and squeezed out a small smile, "Consider me saying this as a deceased friend, good luck with the rest of your life, USSR, and don't bother me in hell again. "

After that, the gun went off and red mixed with white splattered all over the ground.

"Good luck in hell, too." The Soviet lowered his eyes.

Outside the window, a few birds chirped, signaling the peace that had finally came.
