^^^^This is what I pictured the stage looking like, but as you will read it is a rectangle stage instead of circular and obviously, the runway would have to be a lot wider cause One Direction is crazy, and the end of the runway would be a rectangle too. Also different from what TD Garden usually does there will be no seats, they will be in a crowd pushed up against the stage.

Mostly for people who have never been to TD Garden.(they are stood at the far side of the stage from this view).

I would say it's most definitely in my mind similar to the ON THE ROAD AGAIN stage design.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I drove into Boston as the sun began to sink farther down to the other side of the world. The buildings began to light up and shine bright, it was always the best thing to look at. As I drove in a bit further, I became nervous, not because I was going to the concert of my life but because I had never driven into Boston by myself. I turned on navigation on my phone and sat up straight, two hands on the wheel now. My eyes darted around at every little thing, construction, the long ling outside of a Starbucks, a little boy skipping while holding his mom's hand.

And then I saw it, the train station sign...

That's where I'm supposed to go!

I took a breath of relief as I pulled into the parking lot, there were so many people exiting the station as it was time for them to go home, but not for me. I pulled through to the toll and got my ticket. I watched as the red and white poll lifted so that I could pull through, I parked my car fairly close, it wasn't ideal but at least I was moving on time. I looked down at my phone and it said that it was 6:00, the doors opened at 6:30 and the concert started at 8, I'm set.

The whole process of getting my ticket and riding the train didn't take long, I soon got off and was making my way towards the arena. I've been there many times before, I got to go to a Celtics game there once when I was younger. It was one of the best experiences of my life, Julie was there, of course, she doesn't play basketball but she loves it and loves explaining every second to me. I've also been to Fenway Park which is near the arena, I got to see the Red Sox's play, It was super cool but so very hot. I love when they stand up and started to sing Take Me Out To The Ball Game and you get to the part where you're supposed to say root for the Home team, we don't say that. You scream at the top of your lungs ROOT FOR THE RED SOX, it was the best, everyone swaying back and forth and enjoying a time where nothing else mattered.

That's what I imagine it will be like at this concert, like saying chonce instead of chance.

As I wrapped around a corner towards the arena I saw a gigantic crowd of people all just standing there, I looked at my watch again to see that it was five minutes till 6:30.

did it really take me that long to walk here?

I secretly moved up to the front so that I could get to the front of the barricade, I know you are not supposed to do that but you can't blame me I mean this was a once in a lifetime experience. As I flipped under the flap into the line, I thought unnoticed, I stood up straight looking into bright green eyes and a heavily freckled face that was surrounded by ginger curls. She looked at me as I froze and we both turned to hear someone yell, "HEY, YOU CAN'T CUT!" My cheeks turned bright red as she began to speak up.

"Oh, she is with me," she said. I was completely shocked, the person apologized and turned away as I stared at her shocked.

"w-why did you do that?"

"Hi, I'm Sara," she stuck out her hand into my stomach as we stood almost fourth in line for the doors.

"um hi," I grabbed her hand and shook it a couple of times, "jess," I said. As I was about to ask her why she did that again she started to explain.

"Well, I'm here alone today and it looks like you are to and I kinda felt bad that you would have had to have walked all the way back while everyone was judging you so I just said you were with me." She sorta giggled out, "and I would've wanted anyone to do the same for me."

I looked at her not able to hold in my grin as loud screams began to come from everywhere, I looked over and the doors were beginning to open, everyone started to shuffle against us. She reached down and grabbed my hand definitely scared, it wasn't weird even though we just met it was more comforting knowing that we had someone with us and we weren't alone. As we walked through the door I reached down and whispered thank you in her ear, she just nodded, no words could come out of her mouth right then.

We stepped through into the tunnels that led to the arena. Many places to get food and shops that sold merchandise blurred as we walked into the tight passageway, black curtains hung down between us and the concert of a lifetime. I reached my hand up to pull them back and we stepped through. We spun while looking up at the seats above us, we were in the pit and there were so many seats above us and so high up. I looked toward the ceiling as the familiar banners hug down from the Bruins and Celtics wins.

Sarah started to pull me to where we were supposed to be, I looked back down and at the stage. It looked like a hammer, it was a rectangle where it connected to backstage and then had a runway that came out onto another small rectangular stage. We stood on the right side, left side from the band's point of view, right at where the stage went into a runway, perfect spot.

It was about 7:20 by the time we got settled, we were right at the front and people pushed against us with their phones out talking or taking pictures. I was already sweating and could smell the strong scent of perfume and body odor. I looked down at Sarah and widened my eyes at her, she smiled in return. We still could not say a word as we were still both in shock. I stood there looking up at the stage and imagining them standing there and singing, I couldn't help myself from smiling. I could not believe I was actually there, it was surreal. As I was standing there just daydreaming I felt an aggressive hit on my arm, I looked to where it came from and saw Sarah jumping up and down and pointing at her phone, I looked down at it and it said...

8:00 pm, Friday, June 18

I still couldn't believe that I was turning 17 today... WAIT... IT'S 8, THE SHOW!

I looked up and my heart started to beat super fast, I started to sweat, and screaming filled my ears. The lights went down and it was starting, the beginning of Diana ran through the house.

Bright lights blinded me and I heard the boys begin to sing.

Welp, this chapter was actually quite hard because there were a lot of things to describe. I also changed up a bit how TD Garden does their concerts so if you've ever been it's definitely different.

If you have any questions don't be afraid to ask.

I've never actually been to one of their concerts so some of the stuff is probably not accurate but oh well.

Hope you like it, I may do the next chapter a lot sooner so keep watch.
