Dewpoint

Dewpoint is the temperature to which air must be cooled at constant pressure for saturation to occur. It is one important keynote to remember during weather briefing; hence, it is part of the hourly weather report Meteorological Aerodrome Report (METAR) for each aerodrome.
Below is an example of a METAR for Manila (RPLL) with the dewpoint being on bold:

Decoded: Meteorological Aerodrome Report for Ninoy Aquino International Airport on the 17th day of the month at 2000LCL. Wind is blowing from 210 at 4 knots. Visibility is 10 km or more. Ceiling is scattered at 18000 ft and broken at 21000 ft. Temperature is 29 degrees Celsius. Dewpoint is 25 degrees Celsius. QNH is 1006 hPa or 29.71 inches of Hg.
It is assumed that once the temperature and dewpoint is equal or close to equal, it means that precipitation is to be expected or it is already raining.

Noong nalaman nila Papa at Mama na napagdesisyunan ko na mag-stay sa Manila every weekend kaysa sa Bulacan, alam ko na hindi sila kokontra. After all, they are used with me having the one in control of my schedule. They know that I enjoy staying in Manila than sa Bulacan, all because most of the family are also in the city where the business is. And also, alam nila na ang tinutukoy ko sa Manila ay 'yong condo ko na malapit sa UST.

Alam nila na madalas nagkakaroon ng yayaan na activities ang mga ka-tropa ko; and to assure them of their troubles, I decide that I'll only spend Friday night doon. Then Saturday evening sa bahay namin sa Forbes, kung saan nag-stastay si Mama upang samahan ang little sister ko na nag-aaral sa may BGC, all because of an agreement that she'll be staying here bago mag-senior high abroad. (Iba talaga siguro ang charm ng bunso, samantalang kami ni Kuya ay walang choice kung hindi sumunod back then.)

Pero hati naman ang opinyon nila noong sinabi ko na napagdesisyunan ko rin na sumabay sa mga ka-batch ko pauwi. Ang dami kaagad na tanong kung sino ang magdadala ng sasakyan, sinu-sino ang makakasama, saan ako bababa, anong mangyayari after ko makarating ng condo, ano ang magiging trabaho ng security ko, and all that. And after that conversation, alam kong nagpa-background check pa si Papa tungkol sa mga makakasama ko.

I know. Well, nasangkot niya once sa usapan namin na ang papa ni Phoe is working for the Ayala family as one of their project directors. And that, looking on their old records, nag-apply din about a year ago si Mr. Bonifacio sa VGC. Nauna lang ang Ayala to accept his employment. And knowing my father's mind in things such as this, it means business. Alam ko na naging thorough ang background check na rinequest niya for Phoe, since nabalitaan din nila na though walang kaso sa kanila ang pag-invite ko sa mga ka-batch ko na mag-dinner sa condo, it caused raise eyebrows from him and kay Mama na malaman na ang nakakasama ko sa sasakyan is none other than but Phoe.

"I am not hinting or saying anything," naalala kong sabi ni Papa noong inamin niya na mas naging in-depth ang search niya sa mga Bonifacio compared sa families nila Sage, Leo and Carina. "But Miss Bonifacio came from a rather 'engineering' family. Her father is a successful civil engineer, easily climbing the ranks within the Ayala company in just a year. I even heard that Consunji actually doesn't approve of his resignation at first. Her brother is the top 3 board passer in mechanical and the topnotcher in aeronautical. I heard that even her cousin is a mechanical engineer passer. And there's Miss Bonifacio, pursuing to be a pilot. If you show interest on her, I will not mind. After all, her family's reputation is currently very stable, and filled with bright innovations for the future. Love comes unexpectedly just as it had been for me and your mother. And happiness in love equates success."
