Just as I was about to ask Tom what he meant, a bright light came from the book and suddenly I was standing in a Hogwarts corridor.

"Where am I?" I asked no one in particular.

"You're at Hogwarts. Back when I was a student." I jumped in surprise, turning around to be faced with a handsome boy.

"Hello, Harry," the boy smiled.

"H-Hello," I stuttered, a blush beginning to creep onto my face, "You're Tom, right?"

"Correct. Come with me," Tom said, holding his hand out for me to hold.

After hesitating for a moment, I took his offer. He lead me through the halls until we reached the stairs, where Dumbledore and another Tom Riddle stood.

"Isn't that-"

"Me? Yes, it is. We're currently looking at a memory from when I attended Hogwarts," Tom explained, letting go of my hand.

"Wait, where are you n-" before I could finish my question, Dumbledore's voice echoed through the stairwell.

"Riddle, come." He called out, motioning for the boy in front of us to come forward.

"Professor Dumbledore," Tom responded, walking towards the older male.

"It is not wise to be wandering around at this late hour, Tom." The professor cautioned.

Tom and Dumbledore had a back and forth conversation that I was only half paying attention to.

"Harry," Tom's voice brought me back from my thoughts, his stoic expression never faltering, "We better follow my memory."

"Right, sorry," I apologized, following the boy through a corridor.

We walked through a door that I didn't even know existed only to find none other than Hagrid himself.

"No, this can't be right," I explained, a pained expression painting my features, "Hagrid would never do something like this!"

Tom gave a sympathetic smile, "I understand, it was hard for me to believe as well. However, you cannot deny the facts. Hagrid opened the chamber of secrets."

"You're wrong!" I shouted, completely in denial.

"Harry..." Tom reached out to me, but before his hand could reach my shoulder, a bright light surrounded me and I was back in my seat.
