"Tom?" Harry asked, not believing this, what was Tom doing here?

"Hello Harry, glad we finally get to meet face to face" Tom said with a smug smile. "It's such a shame, I really liked you, Harry."

"I- I don't understand..." Harry said baffled, he didn't know what was going on. Tom sighed, Harry got even more confused.

"If you hadn't been Harry Potter, things would have worked, but I can't betray the prophecy like that." Tom's face now showed clear disappointment, Harry still didn't know what was going on but he slowly grabbed his wand and aimed it at his gorgeous face.

"What are you doing to Ginny?" Harry questioned him in a very shaky voice. Tom looked surprised for a moment, as if he had forgotten that Ginny was even there.

"Oh" Tom said looking down to the body. "I'm afraid, that she wont wake up."

"Stupefy!" Harry yelled in anger.

"Protego!" Tom counteracted, the shield worked and the spell hit Harry in the chest, throwing him back. With his mind dizzy and about to pass out, the last thing Harry heard was: "Obliviate"

As Tom saw Harry approaching he didn't know what to feel.

At first he felt pride showing a smug smile, but then he remembered who he was talking to, Harry was a remarkably stubborn wizard with a serious Hero complex, but he had been the best company that Tom has had in years and Harry was lovable, too lovable as a matter of fact, Tom didn't really wanted to harm Harry.

the prophecy A little voice inside his head said.

"What are you doing to Ginny?" Harry said with his wand aimed at him, but his voice was too shaky, he was nervous obviously, but he was still too stupidly brave. Then, Tom remembered Ginny's existence.

"Oh" He said looking down at her, he was glad that he was getting rid of her once and for all. "I am afraid she wont wake up."

Then, expectedly, Harry tried to stun him, but Tom avoided it easily. As Harry was passing out Tom considered his options.

I could kill him get rid of him at last.

But he is Harry

I shouldn't hesitate this much, I am weaker, I must kill him.

He is Harry

And in the end, as Tom was standing above him, he said "Obliviate"
