~Timeskip to summer of 94'~

Harry was depressed.

This wasn't a surprise to anyone who had seen him during his third year.

He met Sirius, knew the truth about his parents and finally had a good DADA teacher...

But even with all of that, Harry still felt guilty.

When he was twelve, he had let Ginny die, the worst part was that he didn't even remembered how.

Ron wasn't of any help either; he wasn't mad at Harry, at least not too badly, but he was grieving because of his little sisters' death, the same as with all the Weasley family.

Therefore, Harry was all alone, Hermione being with Ron most of the time giving him her support.

And now, as he received the diary, saying that the dark mark had been summoned in the Quidditch World Cup he felt guilty for not going, and more alone than ever, since the front page covered that Hermione Granger and Ronald Weasley had been framed for summoning the dark mark, after all, it had been in both of their wands.

Harry couldn't wrap his mind around that, Hermione and Ron were innocent! Did nobody ever wondered why they had done it or how?

They were minors for Merlin's Sake! He threw the diary to the garbage can and slowly started to cry.

In the begging of the summer, Ron had apologized for ignoring him during last school year and invited Harry to the Quidditch World Cup saying that Hermione would tag along too. Harry had stupidly refused, saying that his aunt and uncle would never let him go.

That was a lie of course, the Dursley's would take any excuse to get rid of Harry, but he didn't want to take Ron's invitation because Harry thought it would be too awkward, and that he was just inviting him because Molly insisted.

Harry sighed as he went downstairs to prepare breakfast, he could only hope that Ron and Hermione were ok and that they would pass the trial without any problem, and that he would see them at Hogwarts soon.

Dolores Umbridge, secretary of the minister himself was perfectly normal, thank you very much.

She wore and did everything like a wizard would do, and even changed some of her physical appearance so she could look more like her Animagus form, a toad.

But apparently that wasn't enough for Ronald Weasley, one of the accused and an idiotic teenager which laughed at her when she entered the court room and went to her designated seat.

"Ronald!" The Mudblood who was also one of the accused whispered-yelled at him.

"SILENCE!" Cornelius Fudge exclaimed. "We are here to give trail to the teenagers, Ronald Weasley and Hermione Granger. They will be put to the test with the powerful potion Veritaserum!"

Then, an intern with the name of Yuri Beasley, gave each of them a spoonful full of the potion.

"Very good." Fudge whispered. "Now, did you summoned the dark mark?"

"Yes." Hermione and Ron said in unison.
