A couple of months after Tendou and y/n were inseparable, they loved each other's presence, and a couple of months of hanging out felt like years, all they felt around each other was happiness.There were little to no arguments or fights, but the rare time there were, Tendou would apologize, and y/n would forgive and forget. That's something Tendou likes about y/n. They would always forgive him, forget the fight even happened, and wouldn't bring up things in the past against him. 

Tendou loved y/n.

One day, the two of them went on the hospital roof, like they always did, they watched the sunset while sharing headphones and eating chocolates. Tendou accidentally went for y/ns hand as if he were going to hold it. the two made eye contact, and he apologized, pulling his hand away. y/n only smiled, grabbing his hand again.Their small hand felt warm and soft in his larger, rougher ones. he never wanted to let go, and that was the exact moment he realized.A small gasp escaped from him, and y/n look at him curiously. He shook his head with a blush forming on his cheek, and the two continued.

Another time, Tendou's hair started to grow back, and the muted red color of his hair became more vibrant as his hair grew. He called y/n to come over to help him trim it, and they agreed.After work, y/n and Tendou walked home together. Tendou then realized it was y/n's first time visiting his home. Anxiety started to bubble up in him, a feeling that reminded him of when he would participate in volleyball matches.

y/n loved his smaller home. They said it was so charming, Tendou felt much warmer that day, and the house he complained about all the time, suddenly became one of his prized possessions.Tendou couldn't take his eyes off y/n as they walked around the house. Y/n examed all the decor with a smile on their face. After a snack break, Tendou led y/n to the bathroom so they could get started on his hair.

"maybe you should go it out! it grows so quick, and I think it looks so pretty!" y/n saidTendou felt his heart skip a beat, and he looked in the mirror to see a sparkle in his eye. He never noticed, "I wish I could, but for my job, it's easier to just shave it."y/n nodded and began shaving his head.Afterward, the two cooked dinner together and ate watching anime together before y/n left.

Tendou offered to walk y/n home, he insisted on it, but y/n denied it every time he asked.

Another time, y/n let Tendou pick out what to do for their hangouts and he took y/n to an abandoned building where he told scary stories and watched y/n hold onto him, jumping at every little creak the building made, while he giggled, then he taught y/n how to start a fire, and the two almost got caught by the authorities, but Tendou grabbed y/n's hand, and the two ran out. 

 

While running, Tendou had felt adrenaline coursing through his veins, and y/n was giggling.After a while, they stopped in a field, it had gotten dark, and they were so tired that they laid down next to each other stargazing. Tendou turned to y/n, and he sat up, y/n copying his actions,"you ok, Tendou?" y/n asked.Tendou got a boost of confidence as the adrenaline in him increased instead of dying down, and he leaned in, cupping y/n's cheek with his large hand.

"better than ever," he replied, shutting his eyes, about to close in for a kiss, until he stopped right before their lips touched. "i- I'm sorry, I didn't even ask if you wanted to kiss me" Tendou's adrenaline and confidence dwindled as he realized how stupid he was being. He curled up and is his face.

y/n blinked in confusion, with a blush on their cheeks, y/n wanted that kiss."Well, don't stop now! you gotta commit dummy!" y/n said, laughing Tendou's head popped up, making a face as if he was a little boy getting a new toy"I can kiss you?" he asked for reassurance"only if you make it a good one." y/n chuckledhe giggled bring y/n closer again, pressing his lips to theirs.Tendou felt like the emptiness and darkness once in him was completely obliterated. He couldn't let go, y/n's lips were soft and tasted like Rasberry, they felt satisfying to bite, and he found his hand wrap around y/n's waist. Then he felt a soft hand cup his face. Y/n wasn't just excepting the kiss. Y/n was kissing him back.Tendou didn't just have feelings for y/n. He was head over heels for them.y/n gently pulled away, and they both huffed. It was a long kiss, but it didn't take long for y/n to go right back to Tendou. y/n wanted this, and that made Tendou ecstatic. They made out for around half an hour before Tendou's phone rang. Ushijima finally texted him back'best day ever' Tendou repeated those words in his heady/n walked Tendou home, holding his hand the whole way, y/n listened to Tendou calling his highschool friend Ushijima. y/n smiled at Tendou's expressions and the way he integrated with Ushijima. They found Tendou so adorable.
