"Treason!" a guard cried, pointing at Jungkook.

"Me?" Jungkook asked, pointing at his chest.

"Execute him!" the guard cried, sending a swarm of other guards to attack him.

"Stop! Stop it! Stop it right now!" Queen Seong-Hun cried, trying to pry the guards off of Jungkook, but failing.

"This man is accused of treason by killing the king," a guard piped up.

"You know what? We'll just take you too," another guard claimed, grabbing Seong-Hun.

"What? I am your queen! I command you to stop!" she protested. The guards wouldn't have any of it.

The queen watched from the crowd as Jungkook was led up to a pedestal. She was disguised as a townswoman, so as not to be recognized. The executioner raised his ax, ready to strike.

Suddenly, Seong-Hun ran up onto the platform on which the executioner stood.

"No! Please, he hasn't done anything wro-" The executioner grabbed Queen Seong-Hun by the neck, his giant hand wrapping around her skin.

"You too, I guess." he said, grabbing a bandanna to gag her.

"Plea-" She tried to tell them to let Jungkook go, but the gag was around her mouth before she could utter a word. The executioner tied her hands behind her back and made her kneel down on a second pedestal. The executioner raised his ax for a second time, and this time, no one hesitated.

Suddenly, Jungkook grabbed Seong-Hun's arm, yanking her away from the fatal blade. As the executioner was not the brightest light bulb in the room, he was confused at the current situation.

"Not today!" Jungkook smirked, ripping the gag out of Seong-Hun's mouth and undoing her bindings. He pulled her along as he ran out of the palace gates, running far away from the palace.

"W-what?" Seong-Hun asked, confused. The ice was melting more and more as she spent time with him.
