Jungkook set Seong-Hun down on the clean grass about twenty feet away from the destroyed palace. Jewang nudged him with his snout. Jungkook chuckled.

"Come on, hug her!" Jewang whispered to Jungkook. Jungkook looked behind him and smiled at the horse. 

"Alright. What harm can it do?" Jungkook leaned down over Seong-Hun's lying body. "Seong-Hun...." he said tauntingly as he leaned his face closer to hers. Her eyes immediately opened.

"What?" She noticed Jungkook's face and giggled. "Jungkook!" He pulled his face away and she pounced on him like a wolf after a sheep. They both hugged, laughing and rolling around in the green grass. Jewang set his front left hoof on Jungkook's shoulder.

"I told you so." he said, smiling as best as a horse can. Jungkook made a joking face at the remark and laughed as he kissed Seong-Hun on the top of the head. Eventually, Jungkook got up and picked Seong-Hun up in his arms. He set her on Jewang's back, walking beside the horse as they headed towards a nearby village.

"Mahan Village, just outside of the Balhae Kingdom, we're here!" Jungkook threw his arms out in excitement.

"Finally!" Jewang exclaimed. "Seong-Hun's getting heavy!" 

"It looks very homely." Seong-Hun stated, nodding at the smallish cottages that lined the roads, and the stables which housed many horses and wagons. 

"Homely is right!" Jungkook said, stopping Jewang and walking over to Seong-Hun. "We're gonna live here." Seong-Hun gaped. 

"H-here?" She blinked. 

"Yup, right in..." Jungkook led Jewang over to a medium-sized cottage which bordered the forest. "This cottage." 

"Jungkook!" She laughed in disbelief. "I-I don't deserve this!"

"Yes, you do." 

"Says who?"

"Says me."

"Alright, fine." She gingerly slid off of Jewang's back into Jungkook's arms. He walked over to the entrance, put Seong-Hun to lean against the doorpost, and opened the door. He picked her up again and slunk through the door. 

"Jewang, you stay here. I'll be back in a minute," he said as he closed the door so as to not let in the warm air. He carried Seong-Hun to the table and set her up in a chair.

"Thank you, Jungkook." she said, blushing.

"It's no problem!" he smiled generously, put a towel on Seong-Hun's dried and bloody head, and went outside to put Jewang in the stables. Seong-Hun sighed and smiled. She would definitely be happy here.
