"We are still in one of the top airlines here in Asia. As for Topest Magazine, we are number one here in the Philippines and third in Asia." My employee is reported.
"Third in Asia." Nagsalita si Mister Danes. "We were second last year." Tumingin siya sa akin.
"And is it really hard to be top one?" Tanong naman ng isa pang matanda.
I really just can't stand with these men. They expect too much.
"We are already giving the best offers and best service quality we can give to the people, gentlemen. And that magazine, they are only getting those results based on polls they created." I told them calmly.
"And that's based on what people think about our services, Miss Hermosa. We should do something about it." Mister Danes.
Nagsitanguan naman ang ibang board members.
"Maintain the quality of our services. Maintain giving our customers, our travellers the comfort they need when they sit on the seats we provide." I answered with flinching.
Nagtinginan naman sa isa't isa ang mga kasama ko dito sa silid na para bang hindi sang-ayon sa sinabi ko.
"What do you think, Captain Numero?" Napatingin naman ako kay Uno na tahimik lang sa upuan niya.
Inayos niya ang kanyang suot na coat bago nagsalita.
"Tama si Miss Hermosa. We are already giving the best service quality to the people. Kaya nga tayo ang nauuna sa bansa. In Asia, of course we have a lot of competitors. Those people who answered that poll, they could be chinese, arabs, taiwanese who prefer to fly with their own airlines."
"How many Filipinos answered the poll?" Tanong ng matanda sa empleyado ko.
"38% of the total answers came from our country, sir." Sagot neto.
Tinignan ko sila. Hinihintay kung ano pa ang ibang tanong na gusto nilang tanongin.
"I want you to do something about this, Miss Hermosa. We were never in top three. The company, the empire doesn't deserve to be in that place. We deserve to be on top one. Buti pa noong nandito si Captain Hermosa." Umiling pa ang matanda. "Should we suggest to Miss President to bring your sister back to the airline?"
Agad namang nag-init ang ulo ko sa sinabi niya. Ang pinakaayaw ko pa naman ay ang walang tiwala sa akin. Hindi naman sa nakikipagkumpetensya ako sa kakambal ko pero lahat ng ginagawa ko at desisyon ko sa airline ay alam nila at suportado nila lahat ng iyon.
"Like how I suggested her to save your bankrupted company?" Taas kilay kong tanong.
Nakita ko namang parang nagulat siya sa sagot ko. Umayos pa ito ng upo at mukhang napahiya.
May nakita lang akong potential sa kompanya nila noon kaya humingi ako ng tulong kay Stat para masalba ito. It's a really great help to the airline since sa business mas magandang may ka share ka din sa resources.
"Don't demand on me, Mister Danes. My cousins know all of my plans in this company. They agreed and supported my plans kaya kung may problema ka doon, siguro may problema ka din sa mga desisyon nila. I know what is best for this airline and that results." I pointed to the report. "That doesn't show who the airline is."
"It was just a suggestion. Gusto ko lang din-"
"I don't fucking need your suggestion." Malamig kong sabi. "Be careful on what you say next time. I might suggest to my cousin to pull out all of your investments in our empire."
Narinig ko pang umubo ang matandang nasa kabilang silya lang.
"This meeting is done." I stood up and walked straight to the door. Mabilis namang binuksan ni Basha ang pinto at naglakad na ako pabalik sa opisina ko.
