"Bet that feels better, doesn't it?" Laroi smiled at me as I emerged from the public bathrooms we had found, wearing the dress.

"I feel boujeer that's for sure." I smoothed down the dress before looking back up at him, "You sure it looks okay?"

"Better than okay." Laroi stepped forward, placing his hands on my hips, "You look beautiful, honestly." I grinned at him and he kissed me on the nose, before taking my hand, "Our reservation is in ten minutes, we'd better hurry."

"Reservation?" I frowned.

"You can't just turn up at places like this." Laroi smiled, my face dropped, "Don't look so intimidated, it's just very... popular, that's all."

"I see." I nodded, "Popular enough that I would've heard of it?"

"Pretty sure, yeah." He grinned wider, "Come on."

"You're shitting me." I gasped, turning to him with a frown, "We're eating at the fucking Ritz Carlton hotel?"

"Don't be silly." Laroi smirked, "We're staying here for the night too."

"N-No, fucking way. No way." I shook my head, refusing to look at the building before us, Laroi laughed, "Y-you can't fucking buy me this designer dress and then further pay for me to stay at this five-star hotel?"

"Oh, well... I think I did it anyway?" He pointed to the building with a smile.

"Laroi." My eyebrows furrowed together.

"Lana." He mimicked my frown.

"I'm being serious." I sulked.

"Same." Laroi took both my hands, "Look, I get how it's overwhelming. But when I started getting money I told myself I would always make sure to use it on the things and people I love."

"Laro-,"

"Listen, it would be rude of you to turn this down." His eyes widened, and when I went to object, he continued, "And no, I'm not gonna cancel the reservation and get my money back, and no, I'm not spending the night here alone, and finally, no, I'm not inviting someone else to take your place. So, you're coming, do I make myself clear?"

I looked around, avoiding eye contact with him, crossing my arms across my chest as I sighed. I sensed him smirking.

"Fine." I mumbled, "Holy shit, you're something else Laroi."

"And you're worth the world, Lana."

"Oh my god!" I barely let Laroi open the hotel door before rushing in, shrieking at everything I found remotely fascinating.

"I thought you might like it." He laughed, putting his hands in his pockets.

"How could anyone not like a place like this?" I turned to him with my eyebrows raised. His face fell slightly.

"You'd be surprised." He attempted a smile. I chose to ignore it, and that's when I realised we didn't even bring anything with us.

"What are we doing about luggage?" I frowned.

"Lana, we're at the Ritz Carlton hotel. They've got everything for us in our room." Laroi grinned, "Anything from toothbrushes to pyjamas, but we won't be needing those, right?" He winked at me and I rolled my eyes, suppressing a smile, "We have lunch in a few minutes, you all good to go down? We can explore the room properly after."

"Okay." I grinned, taking his outstretched hand before walking out of the room.

"I feel like I'm getting stared at," I mumbled, not wanting to look up from my menu. Laroi did, and took a good look around the room.

"Not really." He shrugged.

"Not really?" I shifted my eyes to look up at him, panicked.

"Chill, it's the usual 'aw look at that cute couple', and 'wow that girl looks beautiful' looks." Laroi smiled, putting his hand on mine as he continued to scan the menu.

"Well, I'm glad one of us knows what those looks are," I muttered.

"You know what you want?" He asked, not hearing my comment.

"I don't even know what half these things are. They're in different languages." I frowned.

"It says what it actually is under it." Laroi nodded, pointing at my menu, "I'm having a burger." He concluded, closing his menu.

"Where the hell did you find that on here?" My eyes widened.

"You want one as well?" He laughed.

"Yes, please." I nodded.

"I'll do the talking." Laroi assured, "What do you want for a drink?"

"Don't make me look at that menu again." I sighed.

"Off the top of your head? They have practically everything here." Laroi smiled, before a look of realisation appeared on his face, "Apple juice? I can guarantee the juice here will be a lot better than the one from Thomas's fridge."

"That actually sounds good." I nodded.

"Nice." He grinned, gesturing for my menu. Once we had ordered, Laroi's phone pinged, but he didn't make any move signalling he was going to get it. It pinged again and I gave him a funny look.

"You gonna get it?" I smiled.

"Phones at the table is rude." Laroi shrugged, and it pinged again, "But I will mute it just this once." He got his phone out of his pocket, and as he went to put it away, his face fell as he looked at his screen.

"Is everything okay?" I asked, leaning slightly forward.

"Uh... yeah, no. Everything's okay." He nodded, putting his phone away before looking around the room, like he was looking for something or someone.

"You don't seem like everything's okay." I reached for his hand and squeezed it, "What's wrong?"

"It's my fault, I shouldn't have brought you out in public so early." Laroi frowned, "It sucks, but it's what happens."

"What happens?" I raised an eyebrow, not understanding. Laroi let go of my hand and went to get his phone out again, before opening it and handing it to me.
