lana's pov.
Laroi and I entered the hotel room still in our fit of giggles from Laroi's joke a few moments ago, before I sighed and looked out onto the view through the lounge window as Laroi closed the door. He came up behind me and slithered his arms around my waist, connecting his hands across my stomach. I held them there for a moment before turning to face him so we were inches apart.
"You're beautiful, you know that?" Laroi smiled at me, tracing a finger along my cheek.
"You've mentioned it a couple of times." I nodded, fiddling with the collar of his shirt.
"Have I actually shown you?" He pursed his lips as he looked at mine.
"You've made a few gestures, for sure." I smiled, amused.
"I don't think I've properly shown you." Laroi mirrored my smile, taking my hand and leading me into our bedroom.
"What's there to show in here? The unmade bed?" I laughed as he pulled me onto it.
"That's part of it." He grinned, flipping us over so he was on top of me before smothering me in kisses.
katarina's pov.
"How's your food, Kat?" Tyler asked, with his mouth full of his food. My eyes were still fixed on my phone, scrolling through the recent interviews with Laroi
"Hm, not the best to be honest," I said, not looking up from my phone. Tyler rolled his eyes.
"We probably would've been better going down the restaurant." He mumbled, "Come on, you've barely touched it." Tyler leaned over to grab my food, but I leaned away from him, clutching my phone, "Woah, hold on Kat. I'm not tryna rob you." Confused, he moved back to where he was sitting.
"Well you never know, right?" I forced a singular laugh.
"What are you looking at that's making you so stressed?" He frowned, spooning another forkful of his food into his mouth.
"Nothing. Just trying to solidify plans I have tomorrow." I pursed my lips and nodded, placing my phone down.
"Plans?" Tyler raised his eyebrow. I rolled my eyes.
"I told you, I'm meeting up with a couple of school friends here in LA tomorrow," I said, stabbing my salad with my fork.
"Oh? And what will I be doing?" He frowned.
"I don't know. Go to a football game or something." I shrugged.
"I'm gonna get in the shower," Tyler concluded with a sigh, setting his empty plate to the side before going into the bathroom and closing the door behind him.
laroi's pov.
She was fast asleep soon after. I gazed at her for a little while, not feeling tired myself. She looked so peaceful and beautiful when she slept.
I grabbed the notepad from the bedside drawer, as well as a pen, and read through the lyrics I had so far. A chorus, I supposed.
Here I am, here I am, here I am
I know I said I wouldn't but I fell in love again
Know I said I wouldn't, but look at where I am
I just pray that you don't do me like the other ones didAs well as my little annotation:
Introduce the song with a sample of By Any Means by Jorja Smith (LANA'S FAV SONG!!)
I tapped the pen against the notepad as I continued to gaze at her before ideas for a verse came into my head. I scribbled notes down before molding them into a solid verse.
I said 'Fuck love' before I ever met you
Three different girls in a day, I'm ashamed
But with all that I've been through, girl, who could you blame?
Trust issues, I still got 'em
That's why I'm always tweakin' with you on some lil' problems
And you know it's different for me, I came out the real bottomI smiled at the lyrics thoughtfully. This song was gonna be the best song I had made so far. It had to be. For her.
She stirred slightly in her sleep, shuffling closer so she was pressed up against my arm. I put the notepad and pen back in the drawer, before shuffling down into the covers, wrapping my arms around her, and drifting off to sleep.
