lana's pov.

"This outfit needs a good wash when I get home." I huffed, wiping down the dress I somehow hadn't spilled anything on in the past couple of days.

"I forget you have to go home." Laroi sulked, putting his arms around my waist from behind me, burrowing his head into my shoulder.

"I don't pay rent for it to sit there and rot away." I laughed, "Which it probably is doing now."

"Just move in with me!" Laroi exclaimed.

"You're crazy." I shook my head and smiled, amused, as I grabbed a flannel to wash my face.

"Come on, think about it! You won't have to pay rent, and... think of it more like, you're... staying. We don't have to sleep in the same bed. You can have your own room! I don't mind, honestly. It'll be cool! We can-,"

"I'll think about it, how about that?" I grinned, kissing him on his nose after patting my face dry.

"I'll settle for that." He smiled, "You need dropping anywhere?"

"Oh no, we're only going around the corner." I assured, "I'll message you after, yeah?"

"Message me when you're there with everyone, just so I know you got there alright." Laroi put his hands in his pockets, looking at me for a long time, "This is gonna feel so weird, not seeing you all day when we've spent three straight days together."

"I know." I smiled, stepping forward and cupping his face in my hands, "It'll be fine. What are you gonna do today?"

"Probably go to the studio with Austin, have him stay around the night, then you can come round and meet him the following morning." Laroi nodded.

"Sounds perfect." I said, giving him one last kiss, "Right, I'd better go. You're sure you're alright checking out by yourself."

"Yes, I'll be alright. Have fun, but not enough that you don't miss me." He signaled to me as I made my way out of the door.

"I'll make sure too! Bye!" I laughed, closing the door behind me. I clicked on Elly's contact and waited for two rings before she picked up.

"You made it out of loverboy's grasp?" Was the first thing she said when she answered, I rolled my eyes and smiled, "I've seen all the articles."

"You have?" I asked.

"Yep. Every single one. You look really happy." Elly shrieked with delight.

"I am." I laughed.

"His ex must be kicking herself if she's seen them," Elly said.

"I doubt it. She's got a boyfriend." I shrugged.

"Oh, fair enough. I'm guessing the past couple of days has been treating you well?"

"Very well. I've missed you, though." I told her.

"Same. I'm upset we can't spend this day alone." She huffed.

"Hey, it'll be fun, I'm sure. She seems really sweet." I insisted.

"Yeah, seems. Isn't she too sweet?" Elly asked.

"You're being silly. Has she messaged you today?"

"Yeah, she gave me her number. Said she'll be here in fifteen minutes. I'm at Perch now, so you better come quickly." She said.

"I will, I will." I smiled, "I'll see you in ten, okay?"

"Make it five."

"I'll see you in five, okay?"

"Sounds good, bye. Love you."

"Love you too."

katarina's pov.

"Where is it you're going again?" Tyler asked, scrolling through his phone while I peered out our window at the front of the hotel.

"A restaurant, Perch. With some old school friends." I replied, pressing up against the glass so I could see right at the bottom of the hotel.

"Katarina, seriously, what are you doing? You've been looking at that damn window for the past ten minutes."

"I like people watching," I mumbled, squinting to make out which person could potentially resemble Lana. Finally, I saw a back profile that I decided must be her, she was wearing the dress in the article photo, same hair, and fucking good posture too, "Right, I'd better be off." I said, giving him a quick kiss on the forehead.

"Keep me updated, yeah?" Tyler called after me.

"Will do. Bye!"

"Love you!" I shut the door.

lana's pov.

"This is gonna be so awkward," Elly mumbled, peering around the restaurant, and sipping her drink.

"No, it won't. I'm sure we'll all get along like a house on fire." I shrugged.

"Why does she even wanna hang out anyways?" I could see Elly chew her tongue, "I was lucky enough to grasp you as a friend."

"And lucky, was I." I raised my glass towards her before taking a sip.

"But seriously. There's something about this-," Elly jumped at her phone pinging. She picked it up dreadingly and read the message out, "She'll be here any minute now she says."

"Tell her we're sat towards the back." I nodded. Elly rolled her eyes and sent the message before her eyes darted to watch the door. My gaze followed hers. Moments later, as promised, I recognized her as she walked in. She also recognized us immediately, most likely due to the fact we were staring through her soul.

"Hiya!" Katarina beamed as she joined us at our table. She was even more beautiful in real life. Her smile was one of those ones that would stay in your mind for a lifetime.

"You're gorgeous." I blurted. Elly looked at me with an unimpressed expression.

"Oh my god, thank you so much. You're stunning too, both of you." She replied, looking at Elly, who tried a smile.

"Thanks." We both said, one a lot more menacingly than the other.

"So, what's the food like here?" Katarina asked, picking up the menu and flashing me another one of her smiles.
