lana's pov.

"I feel very relaxed," I admitted as we left the spa in our robes, Laroi's arm around me.

"Same. I'm so happy they had the fish." He grinned, stopping to wiggle his toes in his sandals, I started to laugh, "Anyways, when do I get to meet Elly?"

"You could probably see her tomorrow. We're going out with one of her sisters old school friends." I nodded, "I'm sure she'll come and pick me up before we go, you can meet her then."

"That's exciting." Laroi smiled, "It feels like meeting the parents."

"It's definitely the closest you'll get for now. My parents live in New York." I shrugged.

"Oh, no way. How do you feel about that?" He asked as we entered the elevator. I shrugged again.

"I mean, I chose to move. I visit when I can, they visit when they can. But they're both just so busy, I can't really blame them. I was the only priority growing up, being an only child, so I guess I can't complain." I pursed my lips, "But I'll definitely have to make them make time so I can call them and tell them about you. I'm sure they'll be making a trip over in no time."

"If they're anything like you, then I'm very excited to meet them." Laroi smiled, pressing our floor button as the doors closed.

"Not even remotely." I bit back a smile, "But they'll love you."

"That's the main thing, I guess." He shrugged.

"What about you, and your parents?" I asked.

"My mum's back in Australia-,"

"You're from Australia?" My jaw dropped into a surprised open-mouthed smile, "I knew I sensed a hint of an accent."

"You can take the boy out of Australia but you can't take Australia out of the boy." Laroi laughed. "But yeah, she's back there, doing what she can, living with my uncle. It's how she prefers it really, as long as she knows my brother and I are doing okay out here with dad-,"

"And you have a brother?" I smiled.

"Yeah, Austin. He's fifteen. Lives with my dad about twenty minutes away." Laroi grinned at my surprise, "You'll definitely have to meet him. I think he's moving in with me soon anyways."

"You two are close?" I asked.

"Oh yeah, proper. He wants to be a producer, he samples a bunch of my beats, makes them pretty much on his own. He's really good." Laroi nodded, a proud smile on his face, "But yeah, he'll be wary of you at first. He didn't like my ex, so when she did what she did he was all like 'I told you so'." Laroi moved his hands, mockingly, "But you'll definitely grow on him, she didn't really show much effort with him, or anyone in my family for that matter." He went quiet, "Anyways, yeah. I'll arrange for you two to meet."

"What about your dad?" I frowned.

"You'll meet him. Definitely." Laroi gave a single nod, "Just not... yet. Him and I have always been on kind of weird terms, he wasn't really around when Austin and I were growing up. But when he offered music opportunities out here, I couldn't really refuse." He shrugged, "And Austin was all like 'Well then, I'm coming with you bro'. But he couldn't live with me, because I wasn't eighteen, and he was a minor."

"I see..." I nodded as the elevator pinged and we walked out, Laroi taking his hand in mine.

"So, he had to live with our dad, which he wasn't the biggest fan of. He doesn't really remember him not being around, but I do, and I guess that's enough for him." Laroi told me, "But he can finally move in now." He looked at me briefly, "Hopefully, the same will apply to other people." He smiled before swiping the card on our door and leading me in.

katarina's pov.

"Lovely here, isn't it?" I grinned as we walked into the hotel. Well, I walked. Tyler sort of... struggled through the doors with all of our suitcases, before a couple of men helped him and he was able to catch up with me as the men followed.

"It's not like you to not want to stay in the Waldorf Beverly Hills Hotel." He said, catching his breath.

"Fancied a change, I guess."

"And this has nothing to do with Laroi and his new girlfriend?" Tyler frowned.

"Oh, please, will you drop it? I didn't even find who she was." I lied, "Can I not just want to go on a trip with you without conspiring against my ex, who can I remind you, I left for you?"

"You're right, sorry, I'll drop it." He sighed as I walked up to the front desk.

"Hi, we have a booking under the name Katarina." I beamed at the woman.

"Tenth floor, room 46." She replied, handing me two key cards, "Enjoy your stay." She gave me a single nod and a smile.

"Oh, I'm sure we will. Thank you." I grinned, slipping the key cards into my pockets before grabbing Tyler's hand and walking towards the elevator.
