A Guardian's Love

Chapter 7

Dia and Pitch

Dia sat up rubbing her head, she sat there for a while until she saw Pitch next to her. "Pitch... Pitch wake up this instant, the girl is gone" yelled Dia. Pitch instantly got up "What, do you mean gone?!" Pitch yelled. He looked at his sister, who had an angry look on her face." Do you not rememeber anything idiot?, those Guardian's came and saved her" she replied. Pitch turned to his Nightmares "Why did you let them escape?" He asked them. Dia put her handon his shoulder "Pitch... leave it, they failed, if we want to do something right we have to do it ourselves" said Dia with a smirk. Pitch turned to her. "What do you have in mind?" He asked. "Well, Easter is coming up, so why don't we have a little fun, ruin the little things" she replied. Pitch smiled "Sounds like a plan" he said. Then Pitch and Dia spent some time plotting how they would do it.

Y/N pov

Finally after an hour of being patched up by the Yetis I was able to leave, and go back to the Warren with Bunny. "Well... Let's get to work, Easter is only a few days away" you say cheerfuly as you grab a paint brush. "Yeah, your right" replied Bunny. The two of you sit down next to each other in silence painting eggs, after a few hours you two got a lot done but were still slightly behind schedual. You saw that Bunny was starting to fall asleep.

"Bunny, you should get some rest" you say quietly. "Nah... I'm..(yawn) fine" he replied sleepily. "Bunny, seriousely go to sleep I'll take care of the work, and besides rest is important and I won't take no for an answer" you say "I'll wake you up when I'm done, no go and rest". "Fine, if you insist" he replies sleepily, he moves under one of the trees near by and falls asleep pretty quickly.

You shake you head and smile as you carry on painting. "Heh, poor guy" you say to yourself. After a couple of hours you had finally finished painting more than enough eggs. "Phew... all done" you say proudly, you glance over your shoulder and see Bunny who was still asleep. You walk up to him and kneel beside him, "Bunny... Bunny, time to wake up sleepy head" you say quietly. "(Yawn) alright, alright I'm up" he says sleepily.

Bunny pov

I can't even remember the last time I had a good rest. "Hey Y/N... thanks" I say to her. "No problem, besides I really did owe you one" replied Y/N cheerfuly. She smiles at me. "I have to say I look really forward to Easter" you say. "Why's that?" I ask her. "Well, a lot of reasons I guess, mostly because it's in Spring, and in Spring it's like a fresh start for everything... a new beginning, plus Easter only comes around once a year" she replies, she looks at me again smiling. I suddenly get this wierd feeling in my chest... hang on am I in love with her? Nah can't be... can I?

Two days later- Y/N pov

Finally it's Easter. I watched as all the eggs went through different tunnels, it made me a little sad to see them go, but I always knew there would be more to come. "Hey Sheila, you coming?" I turn around and face Bunny. "Sure" you reply cheefuly.  Bunny had invited me to join him for Easter, but for some reason he's been acting a little strange over the past few days. I wonder what's bothering him.

You quickly join him wherr he had opened a hole, you watch as he jumps in, then you follow, soon you arrived at a small park with a big banner that said 'Happy Easter' across. You saw that there were a lot of small children searching for eggs. Your expression changes when you see that a lot of the children had unhappy looks on their faces. "What's going on?" You ask Bunny.

"I don't know, but whatever it is we'd better find out" replies Bunny worriedly.

Suddenly you see the Aurora Borellis. "No time... Looks like North needs us" you say quietly. "It better be more important than the problem we have right now" said Bunny as he opened a hole, he jumped in and you followed. Soon the two of you had arrived at North's workshop.

You saw all the other Guardians had arrived. "What's going on?" You ask worriedly. "The lights are going out again... the children are starting to stop believing" North replied saddly. You glance up at the globe, he was right. You watched as the lights began to go out bit by bit.

"Oh would you look at that, the children have stopped believing" you turn around and see Dia and Pitch. "What do you two want?" Jack asks, pointing his staff at Dia and Pitch.

They laughe. "Well we just wanted to have a little fun, but of course it wouldn't be the same without the girl" said Pitch. "Don't you dare think about it" said Bunny, he hops in front of you, but now he was a tiny rabbit. Pretty cute. "Oh look a little rabbit, how bout' a little scratch huh sweetie?" Dia ask in an evil innocent tone, she sent a nightmare charging towards the two of you. You quickly pick Bunny up, and pull out your dagger at slash at the nightmare making it disappear.

You glance down at Bunny who was in your arms. "You okay?" You ask. "Y-yeah I'm fine... thanks" he replied shakily. You nodd and turn your attention to Pitch and Dia.

"Hey Pitch, Dia I got a proposal... a deal for you two" you say.

"Oh...and what would that be?" Pitch asked.

You inhale, you had an idea a stupid and dangerous one.

"You, Dia and I... fight... I win you have to leave and never come back, if you win... you can have my head" you say.

"Deal" said Pitch and Dia in unision.

"Wait, Y/N that's crazy" said Jack

"Y/N you don't have to do this" Tooth said.

"Everyone go and see if you can make the children believe again... this is a chance to save yourselves" you say quietly. "There has to be another way... w-we can't leave you here" said Bunny. You smile saddly, and kiss Bunny's head. "Bunny I know it's crazy and sounds stupid... but I'm doing because, I care about you and love you a lot" you whisper to him.  You put him on ground and start to walk in the direction of Pitch and Dia.

"Hey Y/N!" You turn around and face the Bunny.

"Yeah" you reply quietly.

"Love you too" he said.

You smile, your heart skipped a beat, he said he loves you.

"Love you more" you reply, you sprint in the direction of Pitch and Dia. You had someone to protect and that was the person you loved. This was a battle you had to win no matter what.
