Chapter 17

Cleo POV-

Cleo had managed to convince her dad to let her stay at Rebekah's the night, she had something important to tell her so she told her dad she would call him every hour.

When she got there Rebekah and Elijah were sitting on the couch holding a phone talking to someone on call. Elijah signalled Cleo to be quiet, she obeyed.

"Your telling me that two original vampires went to Gold coast for god knows what and found a Bennet witch who's my mothers cousin??? Said the other person on call.

"Yeah, pretty much, would you be able to get Caroline to compel you a free trip here to help him, even for a few days you can stay with us, and do you know anything about Abby or sheila having some Australian cousin. The boy didn't mention her name, and a warning. He is a prick." Rebekah said.

"She had some relative who left home at an early age with her father who she never knew when Abby was just a new-born. And why is Rebekah Mikealson in the flesh being nice, I thought you were too self absorbed to attempt to want to help this witch so much." The Bonnie girl said. Rebekah could be slightly selfish, but she had no idea why this girl hated her so much, And Bennet? like Zane Bennet, a witch???

"Charming as always Ms Bennet, maybe I've changed, so are you coming or not." Rebekah replied.

"I'll be there by tomorrow night." Bonnie agreed. Rebekah smiled.

"Thankyou, fly safe." Elijah said politely.

"See you tomorrow." Rebekah hung up.

"What's her problem, and Bennet witch? what does that mean." Cleo asked.

"We have had our differences in the past, and that was Zane's cousin, or something, Bonnie and Abby are both from a powerful witch bloodline, there ancestor played a big part in creating the first vampires, me and my brothers." Rebekah told her.

Cleo raised her eyebrows, Zane? a witch, strange, but pretty cool, Cleo had lost the ability to be surprised at this point.

Rebekah and Elijah informed Cleo all about witches and the Bennet's, although didn't mention the controversy with Bonnie and Rebekah.

"Cleo would you be able to make it tomorrow?" Rebekah asked.

Just then Elijah got a call. he mouthed "Its Niklaus" and walked outside to talk to him.

About 5 minutes later he came back in telling them Klaus and Freya need him for something important. He was leaving straight away. Cleo was slightly upset, but he promised he would be back, he never spent a decent amount of time with them. this time was a simple few days.

"Your gonna leave me with the Bennet witch for a few nights" Rebekah winged.

Elijah said his goodbyes and left an hour later. Cleo's dad let her stay another night after a lot of persuasion. Lukily so far there had been no disappearances that day. police were on high alert finding a culprit or any bodies but there was no sign. they hadn't found anything whatsoever.

The next night.

Cleo and Rebekah sat in the living room, expecting Bonnie to be there anytime. Then they heard a knock, they got up and went to open the door.

"Surprise! Hope you have room for an extra." said a blond cheery looking girl holding multiple suitcases standing next to a short dark skinned girl who was also smiling.

"Who's that." Said the short girl looking at Cleo.

"Caroline Forbes??" Rebekah said quite rudely.

Caroline? like Klaus's Caroline? Cleo assumed the shorter one was Bonnie then, her voice matched the one on call the day before.
