He woke up in a cold sweat.

Where am I?

Blankets tangled around the boy's ankles as he tried to sit up. He realized was in his bed.

What happened?

He pulled back his sleeves. No scars. One more quick glance was taken around the room before letting out a heavy sigh.

Just a dream... a strange one, but just a dream.

The blond swung his legs lazily over the bed, getting up for the day. He was about to walk to the bathroom before he realized something was off.

It's evening.... How long have I been asleep?

He shrugged before walking to the window and taking a look outside. The whole atmosphere felt like déjà vu , but he just couldn't pinpoint why. The sky was the same. The air was the same. Such a perfect night to fly...

He couldn't help it. With a grin on his face the boy got together some of his things and headed for the roof. Step after step, floor after floor, he trudged on.

The sight was all too familiar, but from where? He did not know. The sun had just begun to set below the horizon when he reached the top of his tower of a base.

He felt like a ruler, the land before him was his kingdom.

He stepped back some, equipped his elytra, and steadied his stance. Without further thought, he took a heavy breath before running at full speed and leaping off the side.

He began to sink at a fast speed toward the water, activating his elytra a safe distance away from the bottom. He then spun gracefully toward the sky, and headed for the Shopping district.

The boy's laughter once again echoed out through the night, catching the attention of those nearby. A tall englishman with a fancy black suit, a hippie-looking guy with a pair of shades, and another tall man in a yellow suit with a helmet that covered most of his facial features.

There was another person there however that he didn't even notice. A swede with one cyborg eye and thick brown hair had also been flying around that night. When he saw the blond, he landed on a building nearby to watch the scene unfold. Possibly catch him doing something embarrassing that he could mock him for later.

But that was entirely different from what he actually saw that night.

Once the blond had his fill of twisting and showing off, he decided to climb high above the clouds. On his way up, he felt alive, free, and happy.

But just like last time it didn't last long.

His arms began to bleed and an agonizing pain shot up his limbs from head to foot. At that moment, he realised that he had been here before. This was too familiar to be a coincidence. The scars re-appeared and he could no longer control his flight as his elytra stopped working.

Down he fell. Once again forced to watch as he suffered a painful demise.

But this time he had someone trying to catch him.

On pure instinct, the swede jumped from his post and shot up toward the sky. Closer... Closer.. Closer.

He knew he wouldn't make it, but he had to at least try. He had to make it. The boy would hit the ground any second now, and it would be his fault for not catching him.

Is he.. Bleeding? No. it doesn't matter. I can make it.. I can-

But sheer determination alone, isn't enough to change reality.

And it was proven so as his friend hit the ground, and the death message was flashed across the screen.

"GRIAANNN!!!!!!"
