I had my .9mm out pointing it into every corner or room i came across. Riley, with his nose on the groound, started to follow puddles of watered footsteps. Someone is in here and I'm gonna find them. There shouldn't be anyone out at this time of night.  Plus there are no houses around here. It's just miles and miles of trees and no one else around.

I walked (following Riley) into a different room, it was dark you couldn't really see much. The moon gave off some light that was useful for me. I scanned the room looking for somebody or at least a shadow. I stopped dead in tracks when I felt someone breathingon my neck. I quickly spun around aimimg my gun and putting my finger on the trigger. I didn't shoot. No' I couldn't shoot. No one was there. I swear this is just a bad dream or I am just extremly paranoid. I looked around the room and saw Riley sitting and looking at a dark, empty corner. Wait, it's not empty!

"Who are you and what do you want?" I questioned the figure standing in the corner. He chuckled darkly and said, "Who am I? Well, let's just say I am somone and something you are not. I came here to welcome you into the house. After all its techncally still mine." I looked at him confused. "Well if you still owned the house then why was it on the market?" I kept my pistol aiming at him. I squinted hopping to see his face better. "I am supposed to be dead, but I'm not. They thought I had died in the woods one night they decided to just say that I had died instead of actually looking for me. Stupid people though. Once I came back  and saw that someone was already living in it after a week of me being missing, I murdered them." he chuckled darkly and disapeared from where he was standing.

Riley quickly looked at me and started to trot out the door leaving me dumbfounded still staring at the corner where the man once stood. I shook my head and turned to leave the room with my hands at my side. As I was turning something on the box near the door had caught my eye. It glistened due to the moonlight that shining on. I walked towards it and saw a note near it. "What is this?" i whispered to myself. The note was folded with perfection and the glistening object was a necklace. It had a diamond a size of a dime on it, I picked it up and saw the pure white diamond start to turn black. I threwit back down and looked at the notes cover. I picked up the note and shoved it in my pocket, along with the necklace.

I laid on my bed looking at the ceiling and thinking about the guy I had saw earlier. I rolled over and cuddled closer to the blankets on my bed. I saw a shadow fromthe corner of my eye. I froze staying still hoping whoever or whatever it was would think I was asleep and leave. Riley was dead asleep in the corner of the room close to the door. The shadow stalked closer to where I was and leaned over me and whispered in my ear "Tá tú chugainn. Tá sé ag teacht ar do shon." It moved away from me and pushed my hair behind my ear making me shiver due to the coldness of it's touch. Just as it appeared it disapeared.
