Another Vigilante Deku story!

Nit picking

-Aizawa Shouta pov (third person)-

"So Aizawa, I hear you've been struggling to wrangle that child of yours?" Nezu/Nedzu smirked, sipping his tea peacefully. 

"We both know he isn't my kid, yet, but yes I am struggling to figure out what this means." Aizawa huffed. Turning his head to look at the wall instead of the principal.

"Really? What kind of information?" Nezu/Nedzu leaned in, intrigued.

'I am not telling him about the kid's other full-time jobs! If those two met in person it would be the end of the world!' Aizawa groaned pulling out a slip of paper tucked away in his capture weapon. "He gave me a clue which apparently will lead me to his civilian self. But that's the thing his clue isn't very descriptive. So I was hoping you'd be able to help me." Aizawa murmured the last part. 

"Well, this is tricky!" Nezu/Nedzu held a calm expression while scanning the paper multiple times. "It sounds like you need to find something that has purple in UA and that will lead you to the location called sunshine." (If Sunshine had a capital S when Aizawa wrote it down, it would have shortened the list down! There are only three places that have the name Sunshine in Musutafu!)

"I know, but there are multiple places that have sunshine in their names!" Aizawa snapped.

"What if this place doesn't have anything else in its name except for Sunshine? Would Sunshine really make it the obvious?" Nezu/Nedzu said mostly to himself. 

"I really don't have a clue anymore." Aizawa huffed, pinching the bridge of his nose in frustration. He'd been doing this more as of late, the kid was probably the main reason for this new habit of his. 

"Well, we better start figuring out this purple object then? Hmm? Find it, then we find Sunshine!" Nezu/Nedzu chirped writing down the clue for himself, then handing the piece of paperback.

- Four months later, two months left till the new UA year starts!-

Aizawa scowled as he kicked a rock out of frustration. It had been four months since the kid gave him that ridiculous riddle and he was no closer to figuring it out four months ago! 

"Damn kid! He just had to go a make this difficult!" Aizawa paused in front of the fairly new cafe on Elms street. The kid had given four other clues to help limit down the search, but even that didn't help. 'Find the colour purple and that will lead him to sunshine. They like the colour purple.' This was the first clue given and would be the most troublesome to find. If Aizawa was to ask every single student what their favourite colour was it would be seriously awkward. Even asking the principal to get this information would be a serious breach of privacy. 'They have an emitter type quirk.' The second quirk didn't help limit down the candidates. 'Look for a place filled with heroes and villains.' A prison maybe? A gym? Underground fighting arena? A multitude of possible places filled Aizawa mind. This one even had Nezu/Nedzu stumped. 'It's often open all day and all night.' Yeah nope! Aizawa had no actual clue! Maybe he should just give up already the kids game seemed impossible.

Walking up to the doors, a quiet ring and they opened. The smell of cinnamon and coffee wafted to his nose. A couple of customers sat at the tables, some were talking amongst themselves others were staring off into the distance. 

"Hello! What can I get you?" A cheerful voice butted into Aizawa wandering.

"Oh! Umm... A bitter coffee please." Aizawa looked towards the hero and villain covered wall, then travelling down towards the baked goods. A familiar cat cupcake sat staring up at him. "Um, excuse me could I also get two of those cat cupcakes?" 

"Oh yeah!" A few minutes later Aizawa had a take-out cup filled with bitter coffee and a paper bag with two cat cupcakes. Walking the rest of the way home pondering the clues. He knew giving up wasn't the option, he would just have to cling onto his sanity for a bit longer.
