A long day

                                                                           -4 years earlier-

Izuku Midoriya is a 10-year-old quirkless human in a society of quirks. His life had been leading up to this crucial decision, give up or keep fighting. He had picked the latter and now Izuku stood in front of a massive pile of trash and an employment form.

"Alright me! You can do this! We have just got to start building up our body strength! Easy!" Izuku hyped himself up.

He stood upon Musutafu beach littered with trash, dressed in a tank top and form-fitting trousers. (The best he could do on such short notice!) A gym bag slung over his shoulder containing casual clothing for later. With a snap of his fingers, Izuku formed a plan on how to best build up his skills and clean the beach at the same time.

"Start with the smallest, then continue till you get to the largest!" Izuku hummed to himself, lifting a busted microwave.

-4 months later-(I'm not explaining four months!)

Crouched on the ledge of the roof wait a predator, glassy eyes watching the night come to its end. His ears twitched, his body responding by shifting into a ready stance. However, when he realized it was merely a cat knocking over a trashcan, he let out an esasprated sigh.

"Crime is slow tonight." Izuku yawned.

During the four months, Izuku was training his body. He dropped out of school and works two part-time jobs. One was working at an I.T store, and another was at a late-night coffee shop (however not late enough to stop him from his vigilante time). The beach was one-quarter of the way done. However, with what little free time Izuku has, he uses it to hang with his friend, but also to train at the gym. It's run by a woman with a practically useless quirk, not his words! She hosts self-defense courses along with other fighting styles classes to anyone. This now puts us back in the present day with Izuku dressed in his vigilante costume up on some random person's apartment flats roof. Dressed in a cheesy costume, decked in full-body protection, two fluffy tails hung behind him and a fox themed mask over his face.

The sun pecked its rays over the top of rooves, enveloping him in warmth from the endless cold. A low buzz in his left thigh pocket told him he had places to be. Lifting himself slowly before stretching his body, numbed by the chilling night. Izuku walked to the edge and grabbed the drainpipe, sliding safely down to the ground.

Slinking through the shadows of buildings he made it to work. A gym bag in his locker contained his work clothes, changing in the employee's toilets. Emerging in a light grey jumpsuit with lime green stripes. Goggles were plastered to his head, acting as a hair tye bunching together his curly green locks.

"Morning Carl." Izuku greeted tiredly.

"Another late night Midoriya?" Carl replied with raised eyebrows.

"Yeah, nothing real intense but a crime is a crime." Izuku plonked down onto his seat.

"How did your gear hold up?"

"Well the hearing advancements worked amazingly, but if I am in a fight against someone with a sound-orientated quirk. I think my eardrums would burst with how sensitive they are." Izuku commented.

The rest of their conversation was the pluses and minus of his support gear stopping every time a customer entered the store. So Izuku spent the rest of his first job hours tinkering with his gear and occasionally a customer's gear.

Mr. Carl runs a repair shop, they often get people bringing in broken phones or computers. However, this was all a cover to hide what they were really doing. They took orders from vigilantes and help repair gear when needed.

The ring of the bell informed Izuku that Shinso had arrived.

'Hey, Izuku you ready for our lunch?" Shinso perched himself in front of Izuku's design book.

"Yeap! But straight afterward I will need to sleep." Izuku informed him.

"You always need sleep! Maybe you should work less and enjoy life more." Shinso teased.

"I already do that! I enjoy what I do." Izuku replied, pulling out his book from under his best friend.

"Have you packed up all of your stuff yet?"

"Yep!" Izuku chirped.

"Well, I expect you to be there tomorrow! five thirty am sharp got it!" Shinso eyed him.

"I know, but life always has other plans. I can't help that I'm popular with the pro heroes." Izuku teased.

"I know, please just keep safe, k?"

'Wow! You sound like my mum!" Izuku huffed.

"I'm going to take that as a compliment since you are always doing some sort of dumb shit!" Shinso retorted, letting out a snicker.

They both broke out laughing.

"Okay, okay! I'll try to not get into too much trouble tonight." Izuku wheezed through his laughter.

"Good." Shinso stopped. "Now let's go!"

So Izuku ended his long day with lunch and a playful conversation with his best friend. His days always end at lunchtime then started up again at five pm.
