Lauren's Pov

I have no idea what Corey and Laney are doing but I can guarantee they aren't with their family's like they said there'd be. Honestly I really wished they'd have been here since Im recording the first song I wrote for Corey. It might be the only one if I don't find out wheres he's going.
"Thank You all for coming tonight, I don't know what Corey and Laney are doing but it's not going to stop me, I don't know if you know but if you do id like to know." I said.
"They said they were going to see their families," Kon said.
"Ok first Laney never mentioned her grandmother before and I think I'd know or she'd tell me, also Corey and his Parents, his parents live in New York we're in LA." i said. No one said anything just looked around. They know but won't tell me so I don't know what to assume.
"Lauren this isn't a social event we're trying to be quick," Lizzie said sitting down at the mixing board "I'm all done expect I need your voice and the back up." We recorded but I had really wished it was done with Laney and Corey because they fit the part better.

Corey's Pov

I pulled up to Laneys house and she saw me so she ran out. She was dressed slightly different than usual in the same boots, dark jeans, a red shirt and her hair in a ponytail.
"Hey Core," she said opening the door to my truck.
"Hey Lanes," i said.
"What do you think Lauren's gonna say when she finds out we did this?" Laney said sitting down.
"I hope she shrugs and forgets to write a song about it." I said.
"Heh yeah me too she's probably going to blame me," Lanes said.
"Well I asked you out didn't i?" I said.
"Yeah you did," She said I could see she was trying not to blush but wasn't doing too well.
"You were waiting for me to do that weren't you?" I asked continuing to drive. She was fiery red now.
"Yeah but I bet you can't guess how long," Lanes blushed.
"I bet it was since we were 11 and had just started the band," i said.
"Right again," Lanes laughed then she got serious again, "wait then why didn't you say anything?" She asked.
"I just wanted to keep you as one of the guys because it was kinda awkward for me I didn't think you liked me even though you did it was just kinda like that Trina-nick thing." i explained.
"Yeah no kidding she would do anything for that hunk," Lanes said.
"I just thought it would really suck for me if I fell head-over-heels in love with you and the whole time you didn't want anything to do with more than just friends."
"You just explained my entire childhood." Laney said and we pulled up to the restaurant.

Lauren's pov

I record my entire song,

We had finished recording and we're hanging in the groj that wasn't a garage.
"Do you guys really know why Corey and Laney would lie about not being able to come?" I asked kinda ticked off that they wouldn't tell me even though I knew they knew.
"They're going on a date!" Kon said excitedly Jenna and kin started silently yelling at him with hand gestures.
"Thank you I just wanted to know," i said. "but why'd they tell you but not me?" I asked.
"Umm because you were just dating Corey," Jenna said.
"Still i have a heart!" I said.
"you didn't used to," Jenna said.
"Yeah and Corey didn't want to break it yet," kin added.
"Whatever it's not like Laney stole Corey from me I stole him from her in the first place,"
"True but not true," kin said. "she and Corey were just a dream they both had, you just walked in and later started dating him they weren't a thing so it isn't stealing,"
"Does it really matter? I asked. "just thought it was time a write him a song." i shrugged. "guess this is what I get," i said walking off to go home. "wait there's more," kin said.
"Our first single is number 14 on iTunes!"
"No way!" I said going to go check. "awesome!" I said.
"Oh also don't tell Corey I spilled the beans," Kon said.
"Deal just tell me next time," i said.
"But first you gotta enter secretive mode." Kon said.
"You shoulda did that before telling Lauren," Jenna said.
"Fine," I said doing a bunch of creepy things like kin and kon. "ok see Ya later guys," i said going to my car.

Laneys Pov

I couldn't believe Corey had liked me the way I had liked him since I met him. But it was so hard to enjoy myself because I kept remembering that Lauren would care.
"It's just like old times right Lanes?" Core would say.
"Yeah it is," I'd say.
"You know that one song on our album?" He asked.
"The one that is 14 on iTunes?" I asked.
"Yeah that's the one," he said. "i wrote it for you,"
"Aww Core," i said as we stopped at my house.
"Bye Lanes," he said and kissed me on the cheek.
"Bye Core," i said jumping out of the car. I waved to him as he pulled away thinking, did he really just kiss me?
