Laney's POV

" I know I sound dumb and probably shouldn't care, but I wonder what they're up to," I asked Kin and Kon. I still think I have a crush on Corey, the old Corey.
"Probably makeing out," Kon suddgested.
" I doubt that," kin said. I sighed. I wonder why I ever let something like this happen.
"Well don't let it keep us from practicing. I said pulling out my bass. "I'll sing who needs Corey?"
"Clearly Lauren," Kin said though I chose to ignore him. I looked at the mic Corey always used to use, and without my better judgement i kicked it off stage.
"Hey I payed for that!" Kon yelled.
"Sorry," I said pulling out my own mic.
"You miss Corey." kin said.
"Sure you do too." i defended my self.
"Can we just play?" Kon asked.

I stopped as I heard a know at my garage.
I opened the door afraid I'd see the new mans here to insult us or Corey or something. instead I saw a thin girl about our age with long wavy black hair going all the way down her back, and pale skin. She was semi-tall. she was wearing a white sweater, black leggings and ugg boots, already I was starting to hate this girl.
" Im really sorry did I interrupt something?" She asked.
"Oh no we were just practicing," i shrugged.
" Ok well then I guess I'll introduce myself, im Jenna Frenzel." Jenna said.

"Woah aren't you like famous," i said.
"I guess you could say that yeah," Jenna said.
" a little more humble then Lauren,"
I thought.
"How many celebs are from Peaceville anyway?" I asked.
"Two me and my friend Lauren. she's a singer im mostly a movie star." Jenna answered, very interesting Lauren's friend, gotta watch out for her. "oh what I was gonna say! Umm I heard you playing... you have an amazing voice. i was wondering if I could play it with you guys on my guitar." Jenna said. what is with celebrities being attracted to me these days?
"Oh sure but aren't you an actress?" I asked.
"True but you've got to be a well rounded person to be an actress" she answered. We played it together and within a few notes I noticed an amazing difference Jenna was an amazing guitar player! She made Corey look like crap!
"I liked that did you like that?" Jenna asked.
"Yeah it was amazing," i said.
"You are a great songwriter! You could go somewhere!" Jenna said.
"Oh laney laney laney laney, you should have writen that two weeks ago and we might still have a band!" Kon said angrily.
"Well I was thinking we could play it together in this show, no band commitment or anything," Jenna said slamming down an article. " there's going to be tons of producers maybe we can land you a record deal."
"When is it?" I asked.
"Next week but I think we got this under control we could totally rock it." Jenna explained.
"Just a second we will make this decision as a band," i said doing Corey's job and pulling us all into a huddle.
"So what's the plan?" I ask.
"She said she didn't have to be part of the band so I vote we say yes," kin said.
"I vote for whatever kin says,"
"So yes." Kin said.
"Ok," I sighed releasing the huddle. "sure Jenna we'll do it." i shrugged.
"Ok cool lets rehearse it again," Jenna smiled.
