Lauren's Pov

I was part of the band for like two days but it felt like I had known everyone for a year we all had so much in common and easily became friends. The whole time it was like there was a bug in my brain that itched, who said no to me joining the band? Laney and i are BFFs kin and Kon are stoked and having a great time with me and Corey. Ah! It had to be him. He must have said no because I said I didn't want to kiss him ha! Just kidding of what I've heard about him im lucky if he knows im a girl... Haha. He's cute like that... Not that I like him it's just kinda funny im so glad I don't have a crush on a guy like that, poor Lanes.

"Ping pong Kon?" Kin asked. "Yes kin" he responded showing off his moves.

"Ooh I play winner!" I called. I covered my mouth. "What?" Laney asked.

"I feel like I sound like a stupid preppy girl who should be at the mall right now," i said and i did. "Maybe because you are one Lauren," Laney rolled her eyes. "Used to be..." I gritted my teeth and still glared at her.

"No you still are! Or you wouldn't have said that!" Laney yelled.

"Im sorry I was a preppy child im trying to change!" I yelled back.

"That's not the-" Laney was cut off.

"Guess what our next gig is for guys!" Core said opening the gorjdoor.

"Something that could get us killed?" Laney asked.

"Ooh something that has cheese!" Kin and Kon said.

"Something umm that we need to write songs for." I said Laney snickered. Core turned pink makeing it obvious he had forgot that we were supose to write songs.

"Just what is it?" I asked.

"Oh it's a gig for my moms friends wedding!" Core revealed.

"Didn't you guys fail to fall in love last time?" I asked.

"Yeah," Corey looked really disapointed, " that's why we're going to go for a diferent approach this time we're going to let it happen," he finished.

laney's POV

Finally another chance for Corey to love me. The. Suddenly it hit me. Core still can't write lyrics only Lauren can so is she going to write if for us? Whatever. As long as Core and I go out im ok.

"Sooo" Corey started. " will you go out with me?" Corey asked. My heart melted in my chest.It seemed like I had been waiting so long to hear that. My eyes got all big i was so happy. Then I heard Lauren say "ok" and she shrugged. I mean woah I thought I told her hands off!

"Got to go to the bathroom be right back guys heh heh," I managed trying to sound as natral as possible. I ran into Corey's bathroom. I just sat there for awhile think how that could have just happened to me. Lauren that two-facer. Ugh i should have seen that coming! I told her time after time when I talked about him that he was mine! I couldn't go back out there but I knew I wanted to know what was going on. So I decided to text kin.

Lanes: you know me well enough that I can't go back out there right now.

Kin: yep that would be you

Lanes: so what's going on what are they doing?

Kin: yes they are still here because I know that was the next question and they are kind of flirting and I think they are going to go to the park idk it was kind of boring.

Lanes: you know how there was a no for Lauren? That was me. And this is why.

Kin:wow

Lanes: what should I do?

Kin: stop crying pretend Corey is someone else and hope they break up.

Lanes: you know I can't do that

Kin: ok well start with stop crying and by the time you do that they will have left

Lanes: ok be out soon
