Badass Cheryl

Chapter 4

The aftermath of Chapter 3. Toni has serious questions for Cheryl and Olivia. Olivia gets news about her ex husband.

With Olivia 

Olivia was getting ready for bed, until her phone started to ring. She answers it.

"Hello?" Olivia said into the phone.

"Thank god. Dr. Topaz it's Shelby. We need your assistance tonight, a young girl got got shot, and her name is Cheryl Blossom." Shelby said.

Oliva's eyes widen. "Shit. Okay, I'm on my way and begin to prep her for surgery." Olivia said changing into her scrubs.

"Yes ma'am." Shelby hangs up.

"Fuck!" Olivia runs to Toni's room and opens the door. 

Toni jumps. "Mom, what's wrong?" Toni asked closing her laptop.

"Cheryl's been shot, we have to get to the hospital." Olivia said rushing downstairs.

Toni's eyes fill up with tears. "No." Toni said putting on some sweats and a hoodie. She slips on her shoes and runs down the steps. 

"You got everything?" Olivia asked grabbing her keys and purse.

"I do. Let's go." Toni said following her mom out of the house. 

Olivia breaks every traffic light to get to the hospital. They finally make it, and they both run inside. 

"Where is she?" Olivia asked Shelby.

"She's down in the OR, she's been prepped." Shelby told her handing her the clipboard.

Olivia nods. "Okay, Toni go into my office, and wait baby. Hopefully the surgery won't take long." Olivia said.

Toni nods. "Okay, mom please don't let her die." Toni said hugging her mother.

Olivia sighs. "She's going to be alright Toni. Cheryl is strong. Now, let me go save your girl." Olivia said kissing Toni's head.

Toni sniffs. "I love you mom." Toni said.

"I love you too Sweetie." Olivia rushes down to the OR. 

"Come on Toni. Let's go grab some snacks while we wait." Shelby said.

"Thanks Shelby." Toni said walking to the cafeteria with her.

2 hours later

Toni is in her mother's office sleeping. Toni got tired because she was trying to stay up for Cheryl, but her body had other ideas. 

Olivia walks into her office and smiles when she sees Toni sleeping. Olivia kisses Toni's head.

"Little bird." Olivia shakes Toni.

Toni grumbles. "Hmm."

Olivia chuckles. "She wants to see you." Olivia said.

Toni's eyes flutter open. "Which room?" Toni sits up and rubs her eyes.

"119. She's been begging for you ever since she woke up." Olivia said.

Toni stands up and stretches hearing her joints pop when she does. Toni follows her mom to Cheryl's room. Olivia opens the door and Cheryl smiles.

"Hey momma T." Cheryl greets.

"Someone wants to see you." Olivia said with a smile.

Toni walks in and rushes over to Cheryl. "Cher, are you okay?" Toni asked.
