Badass Cheryl

Chapter 1

Cheryl blows the smoke out of her mouth as she chills in her car during lunch hours. Cheryl doesn't give a fuck about anything; she's failing school so it's not like she's going to college. She's staying in Riverdale for the rest of life so what's the point of even trying? Cheryl leans her head back against the headrest and sighs.

Someone knocks on her window disturbing her free time. She turns to see Toni Topaz and her squad. Cheryl rolls down her window.

"Yeah?" Cheryl asked about to stick the cigarette back into her mouth, but Toni grabs it and throws it on the ground stomping on it.

Cheryl glares at her. "What the fuck, Topaz?" Cheryl growls.

Toni rolls her eyes. "It's bad for you anyway. Come on, we have English next." Toni said with sass.

Cheryl chuckles. "Sorry Topaz, but no way." Cheryl said taking out another cigarette.

Toni sighs. "Don't you want to leave Riverdale?" Toni asked.

Cheryl rolls her eyes. "I'm not going in. Why do you even care anyway?" Cheryl asked.

Toni sighs. "Cheryl, please. Come to class, at least show your face." Toni said gently. Toni's squad is already heading inside. 

Cheryl looks at her with her pretty brown eyes. "Fuck she's fine." Cheryl thinks in her head.  Cheryl shuts her car off and get out locking it.

"Why do I have to go to English? It's not like Miss Edwards likes me." Cheryl said walking with Toni towards the entrance. 

Toni giggles. "She doesn't." Toni said giggling at the redhead. It's their Junior year and Miss Edwards has always been their teacher. 

Cheryl and Miss Edwards cannot stand each other. 

"You know I can't stand her." Cheryl told the Vixen. 

Toni snickers. "I know you don't. You got to admit, you and Miss Edwards are entertaining to watch." Toni admits.

Toni looks over at her boyfriend and rolls her eyes. Cheryl notices it. 

"Boyfriend problems?" Cheryl asked holding the door open for Toni.

Toni walks in with Cheryl behind her. "Something like that." Toni shrugs.

"Do I need to kick Chuck's ass?" Cheryl walks into the classroom with Toni.

Toni chuckles. "No, you don't. Thank you though." Toni sits down in front of Cheryl.

Cheryl pouts. "Damn, I needed something to do." Cheryl shrugs taking out her phone.

Toni giggles at her.

Miss Edwards walks into the classroom. "Okay class today we're gonna..." Miss Edwards stops when she sees a certain redhead in her class. "Miss Blossom nice of you to show up." Miss Edwards said.

Cheryl looks up from her phone. "I wasn't going to be here, but someone told me to show my face so here I am." Cheryl said going back to her phone.

Miss Edwards rolls her eyes. "Anyway, I'm going to assign partners. You guys will be doing a project on Poets. Miss Blossom and Miss Topaz. You two have William Shakespeare." 

Cheryl groans. "Are you kidding me? I said I came in here to show my face not to do work." Cheryl glares at Miss Edwards.

"Miss Blossom. If you do this assignment you can pass my class. It's worth 50% of your grade for the semester." Miss Edwards begged the redhead.

Cheryl scoffs, but nods. "Fine. This is the only assignment I'm doing." Cheryl said.

"Works for me." Miss Edwards said as she goes back to assigning partners.
